Do:

Learn the map.
Work as a team.
Be aware of surroundings, exits etc.
wigglewalk, wallrun, strafe run.
aim for the head.
share ammo.
Look for ways to kill zombies without using much ammo (explosive crates on quad17, crusher thing)
Listen for ammo spawns.
Listen for zombie spawns.
Listen for zombie noises.
Check your back a lot.
Observe, so many players seem so tunnel visioned, try not to lock onto one target.
Shoot to kill,
-Always move in groups
-When not camping, always be mobile
-If you pick up ammo for a gun you don't have and the gun is already taken, give the ammo to that user with the gun.
Organize and tell your team which zombie to shoot first.

Don't:

Take more than one heavy weapon. (depends on number on team) There are 3 ''Heavy'' weapons as far as im concerned, the magnum, the shotgun, and the ar15/m16, one is enough!!.
Waste ammo.
Make presumptions e.g. yeah he'll kill that zombie.
Snipe with anything but the magnum.
nuke yourself with the c4.
Use your crowbar, you WILL die.
Try to make an ammo run WITH a heavy weapon in your inventory (give it to a friend)
Let an injured zombie get away.

Others:

If you dont want your starting pistol dont shoot all the ammo off then throw it away, give it to someone.

Any more tell me and i'll add them

Camp on that roof in eastside_v4, it's a good camp spot, but its really quite newby to camp there and anyone who does should be shot on sight.
It's not newbie to camp somewhere, actually that is a very good spot to camp:

- Only one entrance
- Multiple exits (it's a god~~~~ roof)
- Ammo nearby (on the trains)

Just beware of zombies swarming, and don't just jump of the roof, because there'll be zombies waiting down below.

It's a good place to camp, but its really quite tedious. I swear its the newbiest tactic ever.

Especially when I have 4 guys on the roof, im down the bottom soloing 3 zombies I kill two of the three and the 4 on the roof just watch, suffice to say they got their comeuppance.

A few stuff to add to the Do's:

-Always move in groups
-When not camping, always be mobile
-If you pick up ammo for a gun you don't have and the gun is already taken, give the ammo to that user with the gun.

Nah the roof just needs a ladder or 2 (maybe a window from the other side as well)

Camping is not really fun for both sides... better shoot zombies to run faster , and play around the whole map with various weapons and situations , not just one camping spot with ammo for your favorite heavy weapon.

Don't - Double post.

you definately want to camp places with lots of ammo, like the elevator on zp_nation, i'm not sure why there's so much in there, but i've seen so many wins when they go there and stock up, and so many losses when they don't, and on zp_quad, it's best to have 1-2 guys rush into the water room for the first few rounds to stock up on ammo for a specific weapon, and actually get said weapon, and get back out, if it's something they don't want then they can drop it for someone else and do it again, only until the zombie(s) realize you're doing that will it be unsafe (which is usually fairly quickly, but not always)

the only problem with the roof on zp_eastside is that there's absoloutely no ammo on it, and the closest ammo is 4 9mm clips and 6 shotgun shells, and once it gets down to a few survivors, it will be extremely hard to get that ammo and live, not to mention people wasting ammo on zombies jumping around in the windows, suffice to say i've seen many rounds lost by doing it... it's 1 thing if they are standing still and you cap them in the head with a magnum, and it's another thing if they're jumping all over and you unload an ar clip at them hoping to get one
