I had it happen to me (twice). Maybe some bits miss the head most of the time, as the pattern is randomly generated, but it's possible to get 200+ damage once in a while. Or it's just a bug.

I've tested it to death, maximum damage from a shotgun blast to the face, is 195 damage. So if said zombie is only missing a "tiny" amount of health, he can get killed by a shot to the face.

Awesome guide, Skarth. It's nice to put number-crunching proof to test those many rumours out there; the PPK, for example.

Wondering if you could answer one of my long-time questions that I've always wondered. Since you're the numbers expert of ZP, any idea how long it takes for a survivor who has stopped moving and full stamina to show up on zombie vision again due to "fear"? And how much distance must you move to get rid of this glow?

Thanks very much.

Awesome guide, now it's really easy to tell what guns are better in differant situations. Although since the bullet spray is random the pictures arn't really accurate but you can still tell the basics.

But I have to say, in MY opinion the best Melee weapon is the : Sledgehammer, since it has High damage, knock-back and range and in a crouching situation 1 v 1 with a normal zombie you will mostly ALWAYS win.

My favorite ranged weapon is the : AK-47, 60-70 damage from only 1 with a headshot, a skilled ZP:S player could take maybe 2-3 zombies in 1 clip easily and you can hold 4 clips ( Thats 12 zombies if your lucky ).

I'm curious about the M4, how much damage does it do?

Don't quote me on this, but I THINK it does either as much as the AK47 or in between the MP5 and AK47 damage..

But what I do know for a fact is that it is the most accurate and has the highest rate of fire. So it pretty much is the best rifle.

I've found (From just using it, no test) that the M4's acc is exactly the same as the mp5's

And it has like no kickback - where you aim is where you shoot!
