Hey guys, Here is a map I have been working on for awhile, It originally started out as a zombie mod map but that mod gets old really fast. But the map is based in part of a city. There is one long street that you will see a lot while playing, a back alley, you are able to enter many of the buildings in the alley and in the streets, and there is also a basement.

At the moment I am working on optimizing the map to make it play well on all computers. Right now it will run good for people with great computer, mainly because all of the detail. But I am getting there.

To Do:
- Lighting
- Skybox
- Few more details and rooms to add on.
- Mess around with the weapon.
- A few random bugs here and there.

Screenshots:

Any Suggestion or Comments would be nice!

Looks pretty nice! Please keep the map in daylight, that is something I want to see more of in ZP:S. You could make the inside areas darker though, as it is an advantage for the zombies.

Keep it up!

That's a good idea, something different too, most zombie maps are always at night.

Exactly what OkeiDo said, keep it daylight. I'm tired of hitting my ???? flashlight in every single map, I'm pretty sure zombies aren't vampires You can however add a sorta advanced technique. You could make the inside of the houses/areas dark, but you can use the env_beam technique or env_laser technique and allow the outside to "pierce" into the windows or openings of the houses to allow that. It'll add a really next effect.

Good job Jhobbs so far. I remember that you did show this map in interlopers forums. I see it got some new improvements and such. Just to say something to more improve is that you should add some more graffiti/stains to outside walls and some gutter pipes. I thin you know that already..

Yea i'll put more graffiti to fit the scene a little better. And for sure, i'll be adding some more gutter pipes, I had only put a few up and totally forgot about them as i added more buildings. Right now my main priority is optimizing the map to play good on lower spec. computers, so people don't complain about lag so much.
