Default zps_anothercity [already in Beta!]

(this map is currently unplayable)

Basically since there are so many city maps and there are bound to be many more I decided to name my shot at it "AnotherCity".

This all takes place at dawn.

THE STORY (yes I like to add stories to my map, yes I did this when I made CS maps):
This part of town isn't much of a problem compared to the horrors that lie at the other ends of those 2 tunnels, but increasingly, those horrors have been seeping through. Zombies are starting to wander toward the town center (which is for the moment secure, an outpost of human civilization in an otherwise desolated world).
Your job is to keep them from getting past this sector and to drive them back as far as you can, this is by all means a dirty job, but it's all in a day's work and the magnificent pay is well worth it (not to mention the brilliant dental plan). Beware, this place isn't all that secure either, there are still a lot of stragglers left over from the initial outbreak.

The gun store has a few supplies left but most of what's worth taking is already long gone. The old 2-star hotel, might offer some refuge, but not much.

Don't sweat it, if you fail we'll send another party to clean up after you (and to put you out of your misery.)

THE MAP:
There are a few streets, a hotel under renovation, a gas station in the middle of the map, a gun store (which will be a deathtrap to keep people from camping the ammo) , a small house still under construction, a minimarket with roof access, and a large building with a store in it's ground level.
(and these are just the buildings with interiors)

Current debug list:
-Figure out how to make ladders work.
-Make the stairs more spacious so that people don't have to crouch to get through.
-add lighting to many unlit parts
-add a spec spawn
-make the hotel's renovation debris chute bigger
-add apartment building with interior
-add more stuff in general
-add items

About ladder, use this tutorial.

Its about how to make HL2 style ladder.
HL2 style ladder needs much more work than simple CSS ladder (wich just needs to lay 1 brush near the ladder prop).

Also, modify the architecture, it looks so blocky.
Add some cornice (or something called like that...) to the buildings...
Make stairs to the doors on street, instead of this slide thing.
Add some gore (blood on walls, streets)...
Some rubbish props from "wasteland".

Right now it's missing the "ambiance" and atmosphere that a ZP:S map should exude from first glance, but it will be interesting to see if that is added when the map is more refined.

Make sure to add lots of indoor areas as well...dark ones, just to aid in creating that mood.
