Well, I've been mapping like a fiend lately, and I come bearing screenshots. Two, to be precise. SInce I'm pretty busy at the moment, I'll leave all my comments/descriptions until I get back tonight. But well, I doubt you can tell by the pictures but this is't anything that the mod has seen before - I'm going for a more realistic spproach to the scenery.

Anyways, critiques are not only welcomed, but encouraged. B)

And the T and L flicker, too! (can you spot the difference between the two pictures? :o )

can't wait to see what the rest of the map looks like.

Your darn right those ~~~~ lights flicker. It took me so very long to find the right balance for all the variables that made it act the way I wanted it to. I even had to make each letter out of brushes (that's no texture you see there, my friend ) in order for them to render properly.

Now I need the sound of a flickering fluorescent light that I can throw in there for ambience.

Yeah - I would tend to agree. I was going to put a car across the alley, but I didn't want to throw my w_polies away like that. It's really not too long, but I'll try to think of something that I can use to cut down on visibility.
