Ah....such fun memories of zpo_halloween during the 1.25 days.

Unfortunately the last time I played it (v 1.3), it was totally broken, and zombies would continuously spawn in the trees and get stuck, lol.
Hmm, that map is still in my map folder. Wonder if it has decompile protection (I'm mostly just curious to see if it's fixable, but at the very least can give a more precise layout for anyone trying to remake it).

Okay, just loading the map up in ZPS it gives a LOT of error messages with testmode on, heh. Lots of missing brushes, etc too.

And apparently decompile protected far as I can tell, so anyone want to the BSP file to play around with it? Get a feel for the layout, objectives, etc.

CaYeah, Halloween was an aweome map; gave me GREAT memories in one October. I just loved the experience seeing flashlights going around everywhere in the neighborhood's night... Looking CAUtiously around for zombies that may come from the bushes or behind a car. It was also an interesting feeling proceeding through that hilly area towards the house.... I hope that map gets a little fixing it needs and will always be "fall season" map to always come back... b/c to me it just doesn't feel right playing it @ ANY time... Halloween is one of those "special" maps that should bring experiences you would wait and anticipate to expect... like a gift from Christmas b/c is all ZP maps were availabe at all times and played often or frequently, it wouldn't be as great as for anyday of the fall. To me, Halloween is REALLY THAT original. I wouldn't mind if someone recreated it BUT kept the lonely road between the hills and then that "walk" towards the big... 4 story house?

In the same set of hands, Wazanator, I would seriously look forward to what you may come up with as far as a Halloween map. Idk what you imagine when you think of it but since you create maps, I know you're creative and I would love to experience your vision of Halloween, for ANYTHING it may be! Like some say for me and music: Go for it! And I do.... even though I do so much.

Yeah I saw that it had decompile protection as well. I'm guessing who ever made it stole it from the mod it came from since that one doesn't have decompile protection (sent the orginal creator of the mod a pm on moddb unfortunately he hasn't been on in a few years )
