All,

Since the community seems to want it, I'm providing this thread as a way for prop modelers to share their work with the general ZPS community. Any models posted here will be considered "free for level designers to use as they wish in ZPS maps."

Level designers, if you use a model from this thread, please give the appropriate modeler credit.

All posts here should be models, and models only. Commentary can go elsewhere, and will be removed from this thread.

Edit: If you would like to make a request, please post that request (along with reference photos) here. One active request per person, please.

Edit 2: Also, if you post links to other sites, please make sure the modelers grant access to use their models in source maps. I know that this is more than likely the case if they posted it publicly on the internet, but I would rather err on the side of caution.

I don't have a steady file host, so it's on this site. If the link goes dead and you want the model, send me a PM.

ok im in the middle of making a clothing rack model but i need help with it
this is what i have so far

but im not good at making pictures, i just know how to copy and paste.
if someone has the ability to fill out a few of these templates with assorted shirts and pants than i could get this out to the public

oh and if you could draw hangers on each piece that would add to the beauty of it

Could we get a "Community textures, decals, overlay" thread, too? You can delete this if you want, just a suggestion.

Cleaned up. Please read the rules of this thread guys. Posts in here should *only* be finished models, and links to download them.

I've been having fun making simple props lately.

---------------

Cigarette Boxes:

After seeing that NeoTokyo has several cigarette pack models, I decided ZPS needed some, too. Two different prop_physics (one new, one crushed), 3 skins. New pack is 28 polygons, crushed is 124.

Though these are physics props, I find they bounce around like crazy and act very unnatural. This might be my fault, but I noticed the NT props also behave in the same crazy way. I recommend using them only as debris (collision off or non-solid).

---------------

Security Post:

The sort of thing you see in parking decks or at the corners of industrial buildings to stop vehicle movement. Sure, you could just make a cylinder brush in Hammer, but it never looks quite right. This was actually my very first model for ZPS to understand the process before making the newspaper dispenser. 4 skins, prop_static, 256 polygons.

---------------

Mall Clothing Rack, Empty

A clothing rack for zombie-filled malls. This one is absent of clothing, but it IS a physics prop. 1 skin, 1 specular map, prop_physics, 610 polygons. I'll work on one that actually has clothing, but modeling clothes that look good AND aren't a gazillion polygons is proving to be a problem. Also, the specular map on this makes it look more like plastic than metal, but eh. Too many people working on mall maps to hold off for that reason.

---------------

Let me know if there are any problems. Not totally sure I winrar'd these correctly.

Ehm would you guys be pissed if I use these skins in a counter-strike:source map? These skins are really great and will fit perfectly into my map! Of cause I will include you in my credit list if I release the map.
