help installing sourcemod

if anyone could please help me install sourcemod that would be great. i got metamod installed correctly but every time i do a "meta list" it gives me

or i get

No plugins loaded.

no matter what i do ive read over the tut multiple times and i cant get it to work.

ive already done that...i get the issues no matter what i do. thats why i posted this thread. everything i try i get the same error...ive tried reinstalling, nothing owrks. ive asked people but they dont know what to do becuase nobody knows how to install it.

Do you have vdf or did you edit the gameinfo.txt?

i have a vdf and i tried to change the gameinfo but the server changes it back and makes it back to origional.

Is this a rented server or hosted on your own machince?

it is hosted on my main machine, i have not yet been able to do it on a computer on my network, so im just running it off my main machine.

Thanks To Heimer, he helped me figure out what i did wrong

when i installed metamod it said to make an addons folder, so i did and then when i got sourcemod it had an addons and cfg folder. i put those insed the addons folder. thats where my problem was.

"In the SM ZIP archive you have an addon and cfg folder which you extract to your zps folder, then it should work.
In your addons folder you will then have a metamod and sourcemod folder and a metamod.vdf file.
In your cfg folder you will have a sourcemad folder and some .cfg files."
