Hi all ...

Like other guys i try to make an own map for this cool mod.

Now, a few days before (hopeful) i will finish my work for a first playable beta, i think its time for a few screenshots.

Map Screenshots: -->>>> Here Click Click <<<<--

Gametext:

Story:
During the late evening, a group of survivors arrive at a small shopping street. The group decides to stay here for the upcoming night and they need a safe hideout. The first shop behind the underpass, an army shop seems perfect. But it has holes like a colander. Time to do something!

Survivor Objectives:
Look out for wooden boards, metal sheets, planks and cinderblocks. Take them back to the army shop and seal the holes. Optional: Find a ladder for easy roof access. Or take the long way on the other side of the plaza.
If the shop is locked, survivors are safe for the night.

Zombie Objectives:
Zombie population must grow. Kill them all. Brainnzz ...

Notes:
- The building material is randomly placed on the map.
- Missing material looks like their hologram in the shop.
- "???" logo: Material is still out there, search for it.
- "Hammer" logo: Material is here. Step under the Logo to start the working process and wait there until it is done.

Max players: 32

Gameplay & Map Features

#1 - What is to do?

Look out for 2 x wooden boards, metal sheets, planks and 4 x cinderblocks. Plus a ladder. (optional)

#2 - How do I do this?

#3 - What is the final goal?

The final goal is to seal the army shop. If the shop is locked, you and your fellow survivors are safe for the night. --> Survivors Win

#4 - Features: Zombie Spawn / Teleporter / Survivor Detector

Zombies are spawning in a seperate room. In this room you can choose your favorite spawn point on the map. Move into one of four passage ways. Every area has three sub spawn points.
The "Survivor Detector" indicates roughly where on the map you can find survivors. (green & yellow light = survivors / red light = not any survivor)

#5 - Features: Ammo Stash / Survivor Counter

The ammo stash is for defence while working. It will open as soon as all materials have been found.
If the shop is locked, the "Survivor Counter" will tell you how many humans are safe for the night. (Only humans in the shop will be counted.)

Kind regards,
Jonny

The optimization part is what is killing me on my maps. I cant seem to find a good way to do it for outdoor maps that works right.

Your map looks awesome. Keep at it, I want to try it out!

Wow nice work! You know, funny thing is, just yesterday I had the same idea for a map, which is to seal a building. Except that it involves an apartment building rather than just a store.

Nice work! I'd like to see this map soon...
