Default Harvest Wrong Strategy

Ok so zpo_harvest is one of the most popular maps if not the most popular map in the game. Everybody know the survivor's strategy. You go to the kitchen, and the room nearby, baricade yourself then go down to the basement blow up the explosive go to the tunnels get keys, power up, call military and make a stand.

My question is, why is everybody going after the keys and makes a stand in the hambar, when its more easy to make a stand in the tunnel. If one player goes to the keys, powers up generator and call military while the others just guard the tunnel I belive humans could win more easy, but why nobody does this ?

After a while zombies spawn in the tunnel exit, exactly where you're suggesting people to camp. That's why.

Only if the barn door barricade is broken though right? I always thought that was the trigger that advanced zombie spawns.

Good idea: If survivors hold the kitchen ok, once the basement is open a group of 3-4 should break out of the house via the kitchen window and head up to the roof. Upon crossing the bridge, they can destroy it and meet with the other survivors in the barn safely.

Teamwork sounds like a basic thing that multiplayer gamers would engage in, but in a lot of games, particularly ZPS; public servers offer messy and often failed teamwork due to lack of communication, gun hording and lone wolfing plus a touch of chaos.

Kitchen Bleh!! I prefer Holding the entire house. Enemies Spread out more that way once they realize not all of their food is concentrated in one room, and thus have less of an impact on specific windows and doors.

Boarding the kitchen door is done after the 2nd objective is active, thus buying extra time for basement if the kitchen window/door is still intact. From then on it's as simple as cover, objective, pull back to barn, repeat. And in best case scenarios, a human or two pulled backwards up the stairs rather than advancing down to basement initially, while trying not to attract too much attention, they then break the upstairs back window and move to take out the bridge when it falls, leaving the rest of the team to focus on solely the tunnel and eventually the upper barn.

From then on it's just shoot and kill.
