Nice models, but I think the zombies should be a little more distinguishable from the survivors (make them look more messed up?).

Neato, our own ZP specific models! Yay.

Now reskin the zombie so it looks more zombiriific then "I'm a survivor covered in blood"

And make the pants less bright-blue.

Anybody want to take a crack and make a more easy to distinguish skin than the current one? We don't want it to be *too* easy, but not too hard either...

If we could get it by the PT this Saturday for the new release, that would be great!

Well, here is the recolored survivor, the zombo comes next

vote on which survivor is the best, oand tell me which (if not all) suck.[attachmentid=157]

the red haired guy is not the only survivor head, just for clarity.

Maybe we could use all of them. Is it possible to give you a random skin at the start of the round?
P.S. I like the middle one.

I like the last two the best. It would be nice if you could get random skins like SuperNubb said.

Looks quite nice, good job. Althought I think I'll be holding on to the current models... I've become quite attached. :D

Actually, I like the first guy on the left just for the eyes. He looks like he's been up for 36 hours straight trying to watch for zombies!

Sorry twilight, the heads in all three are the same, for some reason, that guy just looks insane.

here is the first zomb0

It's kind of hard to tell from the jpg, but he has bullet wounds, torn clothes, and scratch marks on him.

Certainly awsome work. Just a few things to keep in mind while making the skins for the models:

1) Think about how they'd act in a situation like in ZP. They'd look dirty and would look tired. bags under the eyes, and splotches of dirt on the clothes. As well, make the clothes appear messed up; have some parts of their clothes slightly ripped or torn, showing other layers of clothes, as well as having shirts NOT tucked in, or tucked in poorly. Have the pant legs lower and over the boots. Stuff like that.

2) For zombies, have them look like they've just been chewed on. Have clothes torn away from entire areas, and have meaty portions of the body showing exposed muscle fibers. Hell, maybe even have some bone showing! Scalp them and have their brain showing, if need be. :P Small changes that will apear BIG at close range, but remain small at long distances.

3) Create a good variety of skins. Possibly something like 32 Unique skins, doubled-up for their zombified forms.

4) If you can tell that there is a zombie on the other end of that hallway, and can't tell between the survivor and zombie skin at close range, then you need to rework the skin.

Awsomeness none the less!

NOW!! that looks better!

could be slightly more gorish since... he is dead.. and whos to say he didnt trip and fall into a spikey pit of needles filled with acid and sharks with frickin' lazer beams on their head.

We're trying for a "zombonic" look, without actually having intestines coming out, gore everywhere, etc. This mod isn't about the gore.

make the eyes bigger on the zombo and make them glow bright red.
make him walk differently, and put a nice bullet hole on his forehead which has a stream of blood running down him

Errr, red? These aren't zombie from hell, are they? I say make em white.

Osama Bong Loaden

I am thinking more red because he is decaying and blood is getting into his eyes, and the red blood is making the glow from his eyes red. but whatever, as long as they glow

oh and maybe one could be hanging out
or maybe they could both stick out a little from his head

something should be done with the eyes anyway

Well,

heres a few reasons why you DO NOT want to have intestines hanging out and crap like that, and why zombies should not have big torn pieces of clothing. REPETITION. It would be lame to see all the zombies with the same intestiines hanging out all the time.

The reason you dont want 32 skins, too much video card memory texture usage. I'm pretty sure it would be a lot at least, sounds like it could be done in theory if the textures were keeping to a good filesize.

Thats my 2 cents.
