btw dont be afraid to use high poly models.. some of the models that come with HL2 i hear use 5000 polys :)

Thats on the HL2 engine though.
Certain older engines don't handle high polys so easily. This is the same reason why the maps in HL2 can have upwards from 5000 w_poly and still have fairly decent framerates. ;)
Never do something for one engine just because a different engine can handle the same thing.

Very nice! I much prefer this one over the mac-10. How about two different weapons? mac-10 with a higher fire rate but smaller clip or an MP5 with a bigger clip, more damage but slower ROF? Hmm.

HL can support like 5000 poly per .smd..
If you split it up (and ignore 2fps and 598039482 choke..) and have around 10.smds you can get up too 30k I hear :o
