Hello, folks. I'm from another mod-team, Hostile Intent (http://www.hostileintent.org) for half-life 1. I was recently playing "They Hunger" and decided that I'd might as well upgrade the weapons, and since I had all the Hostile Intent weapons that I'd made or done work on, it was an easy fit. Since ZP uses basically the same weapons (albeit with new models etc.) from the original Half-Life, all the stuff I made for They Hunger is convertible rather quickly.
I still have work to do, and get permission for some of the stuff (some of it's my own, some of it is by other team members), I will show you a preview of things you can look forward to in-game once I've got this all figured out.

I'll be making my own p_models and w_models as well for this, and this will drastically reduce the number of polies on-screen, and will more than make up for the added polies in the v_models.
Expect new sounds and custom animations for each as well. I'll keep you all posted.

The M203 is kinda useless, since there are no 40mm nades in ZP. I'd also prefer the 1911 from HI instead of the USP, since it does make more sense with 7 rounds and stuff.
And the saftey switch is missing :blink:. And the brass deflector is on the wrong side. And why is the USP safed D:.

usp isn't safed, it's just the angle. I was gonna use the 1911 as the .357, but i'm still looking around for stuff that would better replace the two pistols. That's just what I've been using atm. Anyway, like I said, the models are subject to change, and likely will, once i've had some time to better think it out.

I love the usp but the hands look messy and the "m4" looks too fake.

MAK'T! Use the HI Makarov as the default 1911 replacement and the HI 1911 as the magnum.

i'm still trying to decide what to do, there are a bunch of nice models that could be used (like the p90, the mp5, a few things that i've made, a couple of pistols, lots). Either way, I'll have it all figured out eventually.

lol you guys know guns *nerdalert* haha nah just kidding..i don't like the guns cause it doesnt fit in with a granadelancher in a zombie mod...Think zombie weapons...Shotgun and magnum are real zombie weapons! =D

i was thinking more along the lines of a special forces type addon (to give the feel that you're an SF guy just survivin'). Anyway, i'm gonna get rid of the nade launcher, that's easy enough. Here's another idea I had for the magnum.
Sig p226 chambered in .357sig.

yeah, i'm really biased against revolvers, i really don't like 'em, unless they're somehow very modern. Anyway, I think i've got a few things I can look into for the 1911, but it'll involve makin' it from scratch.

you know a flamethower would be cool but... you know hard to make and all...
you should add uzi and if you have 2 uxis you might wear then as dual wield but if u got dual wield it would be VERY slow ;)

lol, this isn't new weapons, just new models. The guns'll act the same as they did before, just look different.

It wouldnt be the same thing if you replaced the magnum with that gun...a magnum is a magnum =)

but it's so boring and typical. I've not seen any game that's used .357 sig, so I figured if no one will, I'll do it like this. Plus, I hate revolvers, so this comes from that innate hatred. Originally, I wanted to make it a rifle, but htat would involve messing with player models animations, which I don't feel like doin' atm.
However, I do see your point, but I'd like to raise the fact that your current "magnum" is a snubnosed woman's model revolver.
