Its a rar... Used to hate them because WinXP doesnt open them... Get winrar or look up it your favorite peer to peer sharing unit... :D

I dont like RAR, after 30 days the program locks up. Too many people use it for gaming files, does it really give that much better compression than .zip?

it doesn't lock up after 30 days, i've had mine after 30 days and it's still running. i use winrar because it opens more than just one type of compression file. if you don't want winrar then get winace.

Yea my winrar still works just fine..

And yes, it actually does compress that much better than zip.

And yes, it actually does compress that much better than zip. I guess thats the reason for the popularity of it... hl2worlds downloads seem to all be rar files so its almost a must/have program... though I still perfer zip files... Never did a comparison though, like sizes in files...

just go to keyboard in options i think its under micolanious
and btw i downloaded a pack of the thread that got locked by that one guy if i want

The only way there's going to be anything mildly related to a virus would be from the zip - and after a page of people downloading it and raving about how good it is, I'm going to make an educated guess (a leap some of you should try) and say the rar file is virus free.


I mean.. please. he spent how long making/skinning these - so he could put a virus into a rar file and make your old man pissed off.

Eatmyballs (lovely name - shouldn't someone change it?):

Extract .mdl files to:

Steam/Steam Apps/<username>/halflife/zp/models

Extract .wav files to:

Steam/Steam Apps/<username>/halflife/zp/sound

Extract .spr files to:

Steam/Steam Apps/<username>/halflife/zp/sprites




Some folders will have sub folders, such as:

Steam/Steam Apps/<username>/halflife/zp/models/player

So you need to make sure that whatever folder you extract a particular file to, it goes into a similarly named folder in your ZP folders.

Uhh can someone help me? First i extracted the folder titled "Models" to my half life folder and nothing happened, so then i randomly chose Kenneth Sullivans folder and i extracted that to half life folder and nothing happened, what do i need do to to get one of these models working? And if it means anything i do have custom models already in use , the survivor pack.

Probably just switching em around like the survivor.mdl file from survivor with one from these.

I managed to switch ones from the survivor pack with old models so it shouldn't be hard.

It's a cakewalk, just rename the one you want to use to survivor (don't take off the .mdl) and replace it with the survivor.mdl in C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\<steam name>\half-life\zp\models\player\survivor
