Stars? Thats a clan, as far as I know the have not released a clan skin on the boards.

There is a soldier skin that was released the other day though.

Well actually. S.T.A.R.S is an elite police unit in a few games and couple of movies that follows the zombie theme ;)

Heheh.

Resident Evil!

So Im not looking for the clan skins but the REAL Stars skins ;D

Thank you guys anyhow and especially for the link. Ill keep on looking..

Btw is it hard to model on your own? ::D

Ah yes, makes sense now. There is a RE mod for svencoop, you might look into that and grab a skin from their models. I think there was even a new mappack for it recently, might contain some new models and skins in it.

Quoted post

Its not really that hard as long as you know how to locate folders on your PC. First locate your ZP folder mine is located at
C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\[email protected]\half-life\zp

Then look for the models folder in the zp folder or
C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\[email protected]\half-life\zp\models

Then look for the player folder located in the models folder or
C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\[email protected]\half-life\zp\models\player

In the player folder you will find your final folders, one called survivor and the other undead

now inside those folders will be a model with the same name as the folder with the extention (name.mdl)
From what I have looked at the default models dont use any custom animations so any models made for the original HL should work and some can be found here but you will need a fileplanet account (free) in order to download them.
http://www.planetquake.com/polycount/downl...date&order=DESC (http://www.planetquake.com/polycount/downloads/index.asp?game=3&sort=date&order=DESC)
Once you decide which models you will use they will need to be put inside these folders one model for each folder. Now the trick is you must rename the model you want to use with the same model you want to be replaced. The best way to do this is to go to the original model right click choose rename and copy the original name, go the your new downloaded model and right click choose rename and paste the name you just copied. Now right click choose cut and paste it into the folder of the model being replaced and it should ask you if you which to replace the model which you will choose yes and you are ready to test your new model go ingame have fun!

Hoped this helps with the installation of the models.
Now for the specific models you want there is this model called Chris Redfield
http://www.planetquake.com/polycount/revie...ris/chris.shtml (http://www.planetquake.com/polycount/reviews/halflife/chris/chris.shtml)

But if you become a member on the Sven co-op forums as I am you can find various models which are from the S.T.A.R.S theme and are much more detailed.

Good Luck!

yeah, here they are. the problem is that they all use the sven coop animations and look a little strange in zp because it still uses the regular default half-life animations. another problem is that zp only allows 1 survivor model and one zombie model.

if you want them all then i'll email them to you.

Yay, thank you guys! Very much help that I appriciated. Btw I just tried svencoop. Although I must say the teamplay is better in ZP (!)

Odd isnt it?

Team play is better because Sven has been around for a lot longer and has had a chance to tweak stuff. ZP has only been out since halloween

This is true Sven has been out alot longer but its rare to find a public beta mod that has as little bugs as ZP. I also downloaded the other zombie mod dare I say brainbread and even though the player models are a better looking ZP wins the fun factor hands down so I have decided this will be my zombie mod. Heres a look at the models I am currently using :D

Guru, play some more 'just realsed' mods and see how wrong you could be...
