So. It can be possible to put CS models to ZP. I downloaded new models to guns and they are working fine (I also changed sounds. etc. m4 is now ak-47 spetsnaz with cool sound and 357 is golden desert eagle with laser pointer and so on...) BUT there is annoying problems. Some guns go to left hand and it cannot be changed. That is not big problem but little annoying. And then more annoying problem... About every 5 seconds the gun does shooting animation. It doesn't shoot really, but the animation is done. Sound doesn't hear. Only animation. This is really annoyning. So, does somebody know how to fix this/these problem(s)? Thanks.

You'll need to flip the v_model, attach correct sounds to the frames, fix the animations in the .qc file and i suppose you have no idea of what i'm talking about.

Yep I understand but what program should I use? With Half-Life Model Viewer I didn't succes.

milkshape - to decompile the model
mdl flip - to flip the sequence smd files
milkshape - to flip the reference smd
notepad - to rename the animation names to something that ZP will use
notepad - to rename the bones in the model if it gives you an error message.
studiomdl - to compile the model again
if you didn't understand all that, attatch them up and i'll write you a detailed tutorial for one of them.

That reminds me, does anyone know where i can get a mdl flipper? There was a flipper on NS forums but they're down. :ph34r:

And **Grizzly, I found this mdl flipper program. Iam not tested it yet but it should be good. Here: gFlip (http://matthewfoster.myby.co.uk/gflipv1.2.zip)
**EDIT: I have now tested that gFlip. That's good program. It can also decompile .mdl file. I don't need that tutorial maybe. This looks kind easy...
**EDIT: Blah. What I change in .qc file? Everything else can be done with that gFlip. Great program.

Converting models from other HL mods to CS (http://gunshop.clandeadgoat.net/tutorial.php?ID=18)
Ive done lots of converting both .qc and arm converting, if you like you can msn me

Hey. Can you tell where you got your exe? Because my gFlip isn't working anymore. Says Run time error always when I try to launch it. I have program named MDL Flip too but it have bad flipping method. I cant get one of my models converted with that.

To use it, just put it in the same file as the smds u wanna flip. open it. After press 2 then 0 then the name of the smd. Like reload, shoot, shoot1 etc. As before need help? msn meh. ::zombie::

Argh! Problem wasn't in my program. When I try to compile .mdl file again from flipped .smd and .qc file it says: "************ ERROR ************ .\/end not found" What's wrong? My .qc file:

Um what I do is I flip the animation smds, not the ref smd.
For example on your qc file I would have flipped
"idle1" "f_idle1"
"reload" "f_reload"
"draw" "f_draw"
"shoot1" "f_shoot1"
"shoot2" "f_shoot2"
"shoot3" "f_shoot3"
But you dont flip the ref smd (f_ak47spet_template") with the model flipper. Import the ref smd into milkshape3d and find mirrorall under the tools menu. That should do the trick.

Umm... ZPs old models have more animations than my new models. So what to do? Should I copy missing .smd's from old model to new model, or what?

either ur saying what chubbi said about the v_whatever_old. Or your saying something about not enough animatiosn. Like i know some zp mdls have holster animations. If that happens then just add another idle in the qc file, instead of holster. Or if its shoot1, shoot2,shoot3 but theres only 2 shoots on cs model. Just use 1 shoot twice.

Hmmh. That's working now. But how I can change shooting flame position? It's now under the barrel so it's stupid looking :(

um... I think you have to do that with milkshape and the bones, I could be wrong I dont know if its do-able with just qc. ::zombie::

I don't think he'd need to. As long as it isn't Condition Zero or CS: Source, he should be fine. I'm pretty sure all the mass-released VALVe Half-Life mods are fair game, resource-wise (i.e., Half-Life, Day of Defeat, Counter-Strike, Team Fortress Classic).

lol this is why i jus download the .zip and import it.......im nubish when it comes to all this editing of models and converting...(i only do maps but im scared that zomz might get me!!!!!!!) ::zombie::
