So I recently started looking for mods when I came across ZPS. I had heard about it earlier, so after downloading a billion things, I finally started playing. I played for about an hour when I realized I had no idea what the hell I was doing, so I decided to consult this board. Thanks.

1: How does one barricade/destroy barricades? Is it just holster + Right-click or right-click for zombies? After seeing some of the setups, it seems that trying to knock the barricades down is futile.

2: Are the weapon spawns all fixed? In terms of both type of weapon and location, that is.

3: Do guns/ammo ever respawn?

4: What is the best method of approach for a zombie? With the knockback of the guns, it seems almost impossible to get a kill on a human that is aware of you. Do you have to play ninja-zombie?

Oh, and I saw the chart detailing weapon damage, etc. I'd be glad to help update it if I had someone to help me.

And this is just a general question for online Steam games; After about ~10 minutes of playing on a server, I lag out. I can hear people talking and can still move the camera around, but I can't move, attack or anything. After waiting a couple minutes like this, I get a "Timed out" message, so I have to switch servers. This happens for Team Fortress 2 as well, so i'm hoping someone here has a solution.

First of all, welcome to the forums!

1. To destroy or build barricades zombies and humans use the Push feature. Zombies can simply right click to do so while humans have to holster their weapon in order to push.

2. That really depends on the maps. Most official maps have got dynamic spawnpoints for weapons with random locations and random types of weapons. Some spawnpoints are fixed for just random weapons.

3. Guns and ammo respawn after 10 minutes into the game (I think it was that time).

4. I say hide and ambush but don't sit around waiting for them to come to you. Try to come from behind rather than rushing straight at their face.

The best way to learn about a game is to ask.

Also, I think it is 7 min for ammo respawn.
