ZPS Patch bug

I downloaded the patch a while ago, tried a server and it lagged like hell, not to worry it was using the 1.00 version it probably happens.
Anyway I tried joining a ZPS Version 1.01 server.
It failed.
It said my map zps_insertmapnamehere differs from the servers.
I tried another server, only to get the same message, and again, again and again...
Yes it did that for different maps, each server I tried using the 1.01 Version failed because for some reason the patch has ????ed things up so that my maps are imcompatible with those of each server I attempt to join.
Help please?

Have you tried a reinstall of ZP:S?
If you are certain the server is 1.01 you could try deleting the maps and downloading them directly from the servers.
