Help Please!!!

im having problems entering the zombie panic game, when i enter the screen turns black and then goes back to my desktop with an error that says "memory cant be read" or something. i tried playing cs:source to see if it does the same problem and it tells me to update my drivers. if this is the problem, what are the correct drivers to update with. I have Radeon 9800 Pro and the version is 6.14.10.6436 if someone could help, thanks very much

This could very well be a driver related issue. Seems like you're a bit out of date so lets update your drivers ( after going to ati's website the current version is 7.12 ) You can do it yourself by going to ati.com then clicking on the Support and Drivers tab then clicking under Graphics support, Get Latest Drivers or just following this link. http://ati.amd.com/support/driver.html

After getting to this page, click what OS you use then click Radeon and scroll down to Radeon 9000 Series and select it. ( Hit go after all 3 choices are filled out ) You'll be redirected to amd's site with two possible links to use. The first option uses the program catalyst along with the drivers you need. If you're not sure what catalyst is or you don't have it, do some quick info searching on it. Basically it's a program that directly controls your video card's settings and allows you to set certain options for certain games you play. Or you could skip option one and just go for the drivers in option two. Download, install and restart your computer. Hopefully this helps :D
