what is being done about unruly players on servers?

Ive encountered people blocking doors to stop others from moving.

Knocking down barricades on purpose, shutting people in the freezer till they die, and their on the human side.

also people using voice and endlessly cursing talking/biggotry racism

why dont server admins implement votekick on their server? these griefers are ruining the game for others.

if there is a way to add someone to ignore list like on voice, please tell me.

basically all of this is server sided, meaning people who own the server must create there own rules + make GMS or admins to support people with issues, its not a ZPS issue,

I recommend comming off that server and join a new one, or if you find its during a time in a day its most happing, change your times around and play 1hr later or sumthing. Or maybe try talk to the people?

press ESC then player list, then click on a name, then click mute

yep like Xel said, mute em if they curse and making annoying sounds. they don't contribute to the team = mute jaja : )

It's worse at the moment because the mods brand new so a lot of people are checking it out. Some of those annoying gits will get the hang of it and become people that are actually good fun to play with, some will leave and never return. But of course there will always be SOME idiots who only get their fun out of ruining other peoples, EVERY online game/mod/message board/whatever has them and unfortunatly the only thing you can do really is grit your teeth and ignore them, or change servers.

Like was said, this isn't something the devs have any control over, and if someone is REALLY ruining the game, your best bet is to take screenshots or record a demo if the moron and find a way to get in touch with whoever is running the server.

A lot of people (me) find it hilarious to listen to people whine and complain about me blocking a vent when theres a door right next to me that leads to the same place.

As stated you can mute people, i usually let things people say go because they can just be muted. But, i dont tolerate blocking and ruining the game that way.

There are some people who do their outmost to annoy the rest, but fortunately they seem to be rather few; based on my experiences so far, most of the players seem to actually help each other.

And yes, it is possible to mute players. Press escape, then playerlist and from there you can select to mute people; you press a person's name and then on mute.

I've never really seen people being complete idiots and spamming mics or being vulgar, If so, I usually make em' stop because I DOMINATE THEM AT IT! Moohahaha ^_^ jk XD

I've only seen a few 'racist' people though....maybe 3-5...

If you don't like it, join another server or get the host or admin to remove them from the server!

The only instance I've seen someone Tk'ing is in zps_nightmare with the explosion trigger at the front door of the apartment building, all you have to be is smart and avoid or look to see if anyone is hiding next to the button.

If all your kitchen team mate's are undead all someone has to do is knock the shelf/trolly back enough to close the door then your screwed.

Some SMC members may be doing this, but that's just a drop in the ocean. Most of the SMC members are well-behaved. You're just generalizing based on one or a few members.

As for HLSS use, there's hardly anything wrong with that; besides, if you don't want to hear it, just use the mute function.

There's a clan that goes by hLs I believe, one of there guys is named Thaddeus, and all they do is talk trash to people and try to ruin any server that has FF on.
