Added/Redid normal maps and added phong to all the firearm weapons. No melee weapons (yet?).
I also added more realistic blood decals than the defaults.
Please note: The phong will not work with DX8 or lower. I only tested this on Highest graphics.

What did you mean by added /redid all the normal maps?
Did you have permission to do so?

It's part of the mod right? I don't need to get permission do I?
Edit: Oh you thought I changed the maps. No, a normal map is a texture that determines the hills and valleys of a texture, so to speak. It maps out all the little crevices. Phong is a shader, its a lighting effect that you can see when the model goes past any light source. It looks much like the game called F.E.A.R.

No, I only added phong to the weapons. Phong is really only necessary with dark, smooth textures. If it's on anything else it looks unnatural, in my opinion. As well, the player models already have env maps/masks to give the same effect. I think it couldn't look any better than it does now.

Appreciate the effort but probably best to wait on our official weapon updates :) (Don't ask for a date I haven't given one)

There's an error with the file browser for the file on hl2files. If you click the miscellaneous section, it says it doesn't exist, and you can't browse for it.
Edit: Ah, it's fixed now. Thanks for the re-link.
