Installing ZPS unsuccessfully

I cannot get ZPS to install and be played on my computer. I have searched similar threads but nobody has an answer, so hopefully someone can help. I have saved the installer to my desktop. I run the installer and it installs the game into "C:\Program Files\steam\steamapps\sourcemods\ZPS". I can even see it in my souremods folder. However, it never shows up in steam under my games, and I cannot find an icon to launch the game anywhere else.

I also tried installing into my "C:\Program Files\steam\steamapps\'myusername'\sourcemods\ZPS" as well with no success. Now I've even got it located in both just to increase my odds.

If anyone has a resolution I would love some help. Thank so much!

I to am having the same problem.After i unzip file [I] cannot find it anywhere and ive even tried unzipping files to a new folder on my deskop to and the files are never there after unzipping.
