Source Dedicated Server

I'm guessing the Stick Guide to dedicated hosting is for HL mod only? How do u dedicate host ZP:Source ?

Nevermind...the dedicated tool finally shows it.

I can get the server up and running and people can connect to it, but it doesn't show up in the master server list :/

Also, this is the only thing that shows up when I start the DS is this:

Isn't it also supposed to show "Steam master servers added" along with two IP addresses? What am I doing wrong?

Did you make sure you Forwarded your server's port number to your computer if you're behind a router?

your console is saying the right thing. sometimes it says an IP but that doesn't change weather it shows up on the master list or not. also you can't see your own server on the master server list try getting a friend to find it for you.

you have to take down your firewall or sometihng

just type or add sv_lan 0 to your config and your server can be found in the public serverlist.

Look at your port forwarding... The best test you can run is by DMZ'ding your firewall to your pc if your router has a firewall and just disabling your firewall (if you are using a software one) for that short period of time you want to test your server. If this fails then you may have a server config error or may of not set everything up properly. Look at your sv_lan status

Anyone done a linux remote source server? I figured out how to install hlds and mods, but new to how source works, unless it work exactly the same =o.

There is no linux SRCDS available for ZPS yet.

for the consol just type restart,
and all the crap that u thought should be there will be there
(consol wise)
