Mexican Trucks

Anybody have any thoughts on the new Mexican truck s allowed into the U.S. thing?

All it will do is basically outsource American trucking jobs (who'd a thought?) by allowing lower wage Mexican truckers to replace the jobs.

It will worsen illegal immigration by allowing the truckers to smuggle in immigrants

It will pollute the air by allowing in trucks without emissions standards.

It will make American highways less safe by allowing old, broken down trucks to drive here.

Can the Bush administration suck any more? All they do is make it better and better for CEOs and the top 2 percent wealthy elite, while making it worse and worse for everyone else! They've spent trillions on pointless B.S. and haven't helped out the average American AT ALL. They've put in authoritarian spy programs, allowed jobs to be lost, and lives to be ruined while the administration lines their pockets and those of their rich corporate fatcat buddies.

Man am I pissed off.

While I disaggree with the last paragraph, I totally agree with what you said prior. To be honest is doesnt matter what politician is in power since most of them rep and dem, and the courts dont care about guarding the borders.

Rome fell against barbarians whom destoryed roman culture and infrastructure. The same can be true of any lower class people entering a higher class nation and demanding things their way. Funny, Both Europe and the States are just letting their own "Fall of romes" occur. Canada isnt far behind with their imigration laws either.

I read a norwegian columnist, and have also seen many statistics on crimes, especially rapes, increasing heavily amoung the immigrant population, so dont be to sure. I do beleive that the scandinavian countries will probably be the last to fall, or the first to fight though.

Im sad to say it but i agree with what Hastings is saying about England and Europe. Theres been a surge of gun crime in London recently with about seventeen 14-18 year olds being gunned down for being involved with gangs. Usually the culprits are immigrants here in England illegaly (many of whom should have been deported back to their home countries, but due to inefficient bureaucrecy etc have somehow escaped it), or on bail for some other crime.

Other examples of non-integration include not being able to put up christmas ligths in some areas as it may offend people of non-christian faith, or not being able to fly the English/British flag on St. George's Day because it may offend other nationalities (though of course, St. Patrick's Day celebrations are allowed..).

Well it doesnt offend the buddists, and I doubt it does the hindus, and probably not the athiests, and if it offended jews they wouldnt make a fuss about it.... wonder just what major religion that leaves?

Sad really, but we are beggining to see stirrings of that in the US as well.
