Story:
Okey mates im going with the atmoic genre on my map, i have been trowing out some light sources and some props just to get a feel in the map. This is what im going to do, first the living have to find two power buttons so they can open one last door. It will lead to a elevator thats jammed with debries, so they have to push a crate of explosives to the elevator in order to blow the debris to hell, and take the elevator to freedom. But the elevator got a code hidden on the map ;)

Very nice start, but you need finer brush work. Seems too bulky ATM.

Nice videos, and same with map, but one little thing.
Do you think you can use another video host, like youtube?
For some reason I gotta continously scroll up and down on the page to prevent the video from disappearing. (The area where the video is playing becomes white)

I think it looks good
you just may need to change the way the bathroom door rotates, so you could open it and walk inside it
instead of opening it, waiting for it to close, then going in it

awwww the door would have been a nice place to block and delay the game ftw
I like it, the layout of the map from a birds eye view reminds me of thelabs, but the actual map reminds me of Gvirus. It also reminds me of a warehouse/factory which is different, me likes!! Some of the rooms look a little bit congested, but alot of stuff is breakable, so it shouldn't be too bad.
I really like the mechanical aspects of the map, like the doors, ect. It looks like u know how to do a good job, so is it possible for u to put in some more clever and interesting stuff??

I'm concerned about those doors in the bathroom stalls if they're still rotating. Get one of your playtesters to delierately try to block it and see if there is an issue.

I never noticed that the doors are too large. Perhaps your doors are too small?
When I compared them to a spawn, my door looked normal, whilst the prop door seemed very huge <.<

Func doors can look better then propdoors :P
My objective on the map has kinda changed, been working on a way to activate a laser from a generator. Reflecting it trough the map like, A, B, C and finaly to a static laser gun that will destroy the zombie spawn and also blow up some kind of hole in the wall.

Well this was the only thing i made today, i shall but som nuclear waste there also with a nice green glow :).
Havent been working so much on the map today or yesterday, but got alot of freetime tomorrow.
Well i need some handy work with lots of textures also, thats boring, boring as hell. But hell i got nonelife im a zombie!

Nice map so far, as WatchMaker said, work on that brush work and maybe choose some more suitable textures for your cat walks and grating. Mappers should be aware that they are not allowed to port "CS source" and "DoD source" models into third party mods. So make sure you have good alternative models where you have these.

Never made a superb work with the textures and props since i knew most of them would become errors. Been working on fitting textures and props for awhile now. Ported the map to hl2, well progress is slow mostly cuz its boring to fit textures. Yet still im working on a two way elevator with sliding doors, it works! not flawless need some tweaking, but yet still i never done anything that complicated before.
