is it going to be to barricade?

Light--Are we going to be throwing buckets and small chairs at a hallway to barricade? (kinda lame, no offence to anyone)

Medium--Stacking small tables up in front of a door?

Heavy--Getting a lot of people to pick up/shove a tub over to a staircase, permanently sealing one route of zombie intrusion?

Question--What kind of barricading do you see as becoming most common when the mod comes out--if barricading is included at all?

It would be nice if everyone got that HL2 thingi where you can pick everything up thats not like half your player model size. Although if it was like that, barricading will be light meaning only buckets etc. Since tables and prolly chairs are unmoveable.

The only thing that makes me sad is how weak the barricades would look... and be.

"OMG MOVE THAT PILE OF BUCKETS OVER THERE IN FRONT OF THE DOOR SO ZOMBIES HAVE TO JUMP OVER THEM!!!"
*Pile of buckets doesn't work*

Who would throw small chairs and buckets in front of a doorway to make a barricade... It looks kinda stupid, and it is stupid. People will end up just running around like they always do in ZP, mappers will end up putting in lame camping areas with only 2 entrances and a bunch of boxes to camp on for survivors, instead of including a room with four entrances, but two can be barricaded by propping a couch against the door, or maybe putting a chair against the door handle so it can't be pushed in, so zombies have to go through the other two entrances.

Make players work for their security, I say.

Agreed.

I'm pretty sure that the barricading is whatever you can move. It would depend on the mappers for what and what cannot be moved, and the weight ratio for it and how many humans can push it.

the thing about heavy barricades doesnt make sense

just because u move 1 heavy object doesnt make the pahtway where u put it block off the zombies makin it unpassable instead of that the zombie should have to attack it for a long time till it breaks

and the light barricade is stupid like Ion said

i think it depends on the map that is being played like say if its an all inside map it should be heay, mainly outside light.

I doubt you would look for the code, and remove it just so that people can't put small stuff in front of doors:rolleyes:

Like buckets, cans & other stuff as mentioned:P

if there are ever going to barricades in ZP it should be like half-life2 where u pick up an object with " E " key and press e again to drop. usually the stuff breaks 2-3 hits depending the object and if there are heavy objects that can be used as barricades it should require 2 or more players to press e on the object ex like a long sofa or something. This might be a decent idea maybe to stall zombies to quickly get items or get away somewhere

Sorry to say it, but that idea has been posted several times <.<

Those who PT would know the meaning of "Wizard's spot."

But yes, it's totally dependent on mappers on how barricading would work and how model X would react to taking damage.

Oh im sorry to tell you this but zombiepanic isnt a mod at all, its just an alloborate and sadistic game where all the developers see how many people they can sucker into thinking there is a zombiepanic source, hell they even went so far as make a none source version just to convince people!
