I don't mean cubemaps, i mean like this

notice you can see the building reflection....
any useful help will be appretiated.
Try looking at ur graphics settings and see if uve got water reflections turned on.

no, i mean how do you make that in hammer?
when you just make water by itself, it is not reflective.

I think you have to use cubemaps, I ran into a similar problem however I couldn't get it to reflect even with cubemaps O.o.

Um, you are aware that cube maps are what make it, and other textures with reflective properties, reflect right?
Without cubemaps, it can reflect some parts of world by itself, just not lights.

Each water texture has different properties: whether it refracts, whether it reflects world geometry (or just cubemaps), color and how cloudy the water is, etc. Experiment with the different water textures to find one with the properties you're looking for.
