Hello ZP Community!

For those of you on the west coast we made it on time for September! Well this month we've got some updated media of Knight's new map DeadEnd, DraggonArtists police car which you can see in the screenshots of DeadEnd as well, a few new animations from our vault, a new bladed weapon, and SDF's update on his Officer concept.

On another note-
Eka who has put a lot of work into Zombie Panic and created some of our best stuff has recently moved to a new state and into a new company. With life, work, and family taking priority he's had to cut back on some of his hobbies and would like everyone to wish him the best of luck. He is welcome back on the team anytime and appreciate all he has done for us and the community. Cheers!

otherthan that, its loookiiinnnn gooood. cant wwwait to hack and slash at zombies with that machete

I was just looking at the police car and thought, "Hey, I wonder if that is an object or if it is part of the map...", of course, I was having a brain dead moment, because for some reason I was thinking it was in the Half Life 1 engine. Cars were always part of the ground on Zombie Panic, unless you were playing ZP_HSPM or some other crazy fan made map. It's great to see that this fact is no more... Anyways, the police car will be drivable right?

I want to make a suggestion that you use env_sprites for the breaks rather than env_glow (or lightglow or whatever), or turn the glow max size down a bit. env_sprite looks better for lights that aren't extremely bright but still have light coming out of it. I.E. Car break lights. :P

though what the future holds .....:P

It was a point_spotlight with a light bulb to give off the light reflection. I agree that it's a bit much, but the lights on this car are super bright and must blind you when you look at them! :ohmy: I can always adjust these, and lower them. Thanks for the suggestion..

Can someone upload the reload anims clips to youtube.com? I cant get the codec, but ive seen the pistol animation one on youtube.com, and i want to see the shotgun one.

From family experiance, Jehovah Witnesses are afraid of of hunters who come to the doot in full gear and a shotty. The growling dog at his side didnt help much either :D

zombie horde blows, play the infection one.



(zombie horde is the ones where all the zombies are bots and the people are people and you cant become a zombo. The infection one is where the zombs move fast and you become one right when you get slashed)

well if you are zombo anyways.
nice updates, this looks good.

p.s you can be zombo in zombie horde, just have to wait for a space

I'm really liking the SxS shotgun and the reload animation.

One small complaint: no extractors. The spent shells are extracted but no extractors are evident and when the fresh rounds are inserted, they fit flush with the chamber.
