Hey guys, I'm new here but not new to the mod. I played the hell out of the original ZP mod for Half-Life and thought it was absolutely brilliant and really can't wait to see what you've got in store for the Source release.

I'm also an aspiring mapper, I'll download the new compiling tools you have in the mapping section, however it's been a while since I messed with the source engine and am now aware that the new engine release in May screwed up mapping for anything other than HL2. How do you work around this?

Currently, my plan is to try and reproduce the Hospital that I work at - not the whole thing of course because it is a big place. Any ways, if I really get going - I'll be asking questions here and there about how to do this and that and if anyone has knowledge on how to use the new features.

Nothing yet, but I will post when/if I actually get to working on something worth showing. I'm really glad to see how far you guys have gone with the source engine and can't wait to see the release.

I'm a MAJOR ZOMBIE FILM FANATIC! Just ordered the original Dawn of the Dead (Ultimate Edition) off of Amazon.com. That one is by far my most favorite Zombie film ever, trumphing the remake. I've been a zombie film watcher for over 10 years, favourite movies are:

Night of the Living Dead (Original and Remake)
Dawn of the Dead (Original and Remake)
Day of the Dead
Dead Alive
Cemetary Man
28 Days Later
Resident Evil 1&2
Evil Dead 1&2 (Army of Darkness is great as well, but isn't really a zombie film)

Also been a fan of the earlier Resident Evil Games as well as the Silent Hill series.

I've read some folklore on the undead as well as fictional stories. Reader of Stephen King.

So yeah, I'll see if I can put this into mapping - I know the basics of brush work and doors and how the original HL engine worked, just need to apply it to and learn more of the source features.
