Depends on what you contribute. If its something good, you get Contributor Status, which basically gives you playtester status.

In most cases contributing something that is used towards the modification, you will be granted Contributor stats.. Which will grant you playtesting abilities, as well as perhaps a little something in source in the future.. ;)

Yeah maybe, don't take my word for it though, i'm just a PT who BS'ed his way onto PT status. Yes, I infact, slept with Nubb to get this position. He loved every minute of it.

I love it that the community wants to help, and the ones I admire are the ones that expect nothing in return for the contributions. And these people are generally the ones that end up getting some form of privaledges.

But contributing for the reason of getting something in return, to me, seems selfish and well I generally dislike the whole idea. The whole consti thing in NS was good at first, however its sad that they had to start offering early builds in order to get more donations. When that happened I started using an account without a consti icon. I didn't want to confused with the consti's that just paid for early builds instead of actually wanting to contribute without wanting anything in return.
