This might be a noob question, but...

Does it matter whether you map for HL2 or CS:S for a zombie panic map? I figure you'll be able to convert them or whatever, but is there a difference?

I just don't want to start and then have to start all over again.

Well yea they are two different products... CS/S is bought separately so textures/props would differ to the HL2 stuff... If you can extract the models/textures then use the program pakrat that will put everything into your bsp file, then yea it'll be fine.. A simple answer is yes/no if you want to go that extra step mentioned above...

CS:S and HL2 DM use different sized models and dimensions for their maps. ZP:S currently follows HL2 DM dimensions and would be the closest thing we have to ZP:S mapping for right now.
