I am usually against lab maps, they're kinda..cliche, but the indoors of this one look sexy. And it kinda looks like ya got a Weapon X kinda thing goin on in the lab, very nice stuff.

Speaking of weapon X, I wonder if it would be possible for Wolverine to be come a zombie, and if he did would his Mutant abilites still function, as most zombie viruses are caterred towards human genes and not mutants.

FUnny thing is I'm working on a map with Blazeers textures and was considering making one with the lab ones... but now that you've gone ahead and muddled that up :P
And VERY nice map, I hope to be able to play it soon :)

It'll be done when it's done :o, I'm trying to get rid of a bad surface extents error at the moment, which is there when there shouldn't be one D:.
Before that error started popping up though, I'd changed the setting to dusk, but didn't take any screenshots... so just... use your imagination or something, jeez.

Sorry there's not been oh-so many updates on this map, I've been busy with something that should hopefully appear in the next Zombie Panic update.
Aside from that, there's a good chance I'll have to rebuild/remove the outside area due to some weird error i can't get rid of, but I'll keep you posted \o/.

It's a crap method but try the box method at 256x256 per box and see if you can minimalise rebuiling because it would be a shame to lose that area.

It's turned out pretty small, but I have plans on extending it (rebuilding the outside area and a couple more rooms underground), but I like it so far \o/.

I floated around in spectator for a while. Nice map, architechture looks cool. Seems a bit dark, but that might be my settings.
You should add bubbles to the tanks, and maybe a breathing sound since they have masks on.

New outside area that actually works \o/. Guess where that metal texture is from? :D:D:D.
I like this one much better than the old outside area, this one feels much more secluded... and the floor doesn't randomly drop away.

Very nice work. A few comments:
There seems to be a ledge in the elevator shaft that the humans can jump down to without getting hurt. It looks like it might become a brutal camping spot, especially since the zombies can't access the top of the shaft from their spawn. You also might want to draw the elevators stuck at the top of the shaft in place of the ceiling to make it seem more realistic.
The plants at the top of the elevator shaft don't fit the mood of that area. You could change the appearance of the area to feel more reception-like if you really want the plants. A reception desk might do it. Also for some reason having the plants so close to the door but having no plants outside feels odd.
You have the right idea as far as that glassed-in booth in the human spawn is concerned. I see it as where a security guard would "buzz-in" visitors either into the garage area or the elevators. If you see it that way as well, consider adding a chair, countertop, and a few monitors. This would also kill off the need for a reception area by the elevator, and further dooms the plants I'm afraid...
There's a few odd lighting effects (ex light is flickering onto a gun, but the light source doesn't flicker)
The weapons and ammo seem to spawn almost instantly after being picked up. I maxed-out my gun in seconds.
As a zombie I had trouble finding the switch to open the big doors. Consider some kind of light on it.
My computer would be too slow to play this map online. The bottom of the elevator shaft is especially bad (1300-1500 wpoly). I am, however, at the extreme lower end as far as gaming computers go, so that might not mean anything.

Noted. However the ammo/gun spawn thing always happens when you're playing a map using sv_testmode 1. Thanks for pointing out that stuff though :o.

I like it, I will d/l tonight and check it out - I saw Blazeer's lab texs many moons ago and I always wanted to do a lab map just to see how good those texs really were. And they're pretty ~~~~ sexy by all accounts.
You need to get some blood decals, broken glass, damaged doors and a few dead scientists - other wise the zombie storyline doesn't make much sense.
Apart from the lack of damage I love it. Great work.
If there's anything I can help you with don't hesitate to ask - be it a nice set of cliffs or even just a nice cup of tea. I'm ya man.

Ok first there's missing sprites in the pack santglow1/santglow2 I just copied and pastes one of your sprites with those names to make the map run :P I do like the addons in the maps paths through the DARK DARK corridors... There seems to be more weapons added now which is a plus. One room though not tested could be a potential stacking spot... There's a room with a bench leaning against the wall... Judging by its hight and the lockers hight it would take only one survivor to duck and others to just get up top and have their way with the zombies :D The maps textures rox though I do like the Doom3 looks of the map... Maybe in a future build have a working elevator? Anyways great map hope to see it on a server sometime... Check on those sprites missing...
