Basic Human Strategy

Stay together! You have a better chance of living staying together than going off by yourself. Also, please, don't hog ammo or pick up ammo for a gun that you don't have. More experienced players might want the ammo and can do more damage with Magnum ammo than you can without one.
Using the Pistol
This is the weakest gun (Besides the crowbar) but ammo is plentiful, the most important thing though, is to aim for the zombie's head. It might take one or two clips depending on if you hit them every shot. If you see a zombie and you don't have much ammo, RUN!!
Using the Shotgun
Simple. Wait for the zombie to get close and pull the trigger. If they're point-blank they will explode and you will get an instant kill. If they're pretty close it will take two or three shots. I recommend not sniping with this gun. Also, you can fire while reloading so take advantage of that feature!!
Using the Magnum
Aim for the head and pull the trigger. It works at any distance. You will be rewarded with an instant kill.
Using the M-16
Again, aim for the head. Also remember you can kill the zombies at long range with this weapon, so do it!
Using Explosives
Placing satchel charges is a genius idea, just be sure not to do it too close to you. This means at the opposite end of a hallway. Also, using them and not detonating them might keep the more cautious zombies away. Grenades are your friends, but remember they can't tell friend from foe. But you can bounce them around corners and stuff. Just don't be too close to the explosion!!
