Hey I was thinking... since I crave for so many new skins and so on. Why dont I learn to do my own skins. I always get dedicated when getting into something so with a little time and learning I might be able to do decent skins and so on.
Does anyone got a few starter tips, a link to a tutorial to tell me what its all about and maybe what kind of graphicprograms that are good to use.
Well I dont have a clue about what modeling is so a good starterguide would be superb :D

Most people use 3dsmax, a cheaper alternative milkshape or you can always
There are tuts for both all over the place just use google. Heres some that I know of but google should work.

Theres Softimage, its totally free as long as you only make models for HL2..not much problem there.
I'm trying to learn how to use it and modeling in general.
