STARS turned six years old today!
Our distinguished clan is one of honor, pride and friendship, but it's also something else: Competitive. We've competed in various ways throughout our clan's gaming history. Some we've done poorly in, while others we've excelled, even seemingly mastering the game play.
We started competing with knifing in Counter-Strike nearly 4 years ago, ending with 15 out of 19 wins. I say "nearly 4 years ago", because everything before that was just casual play. We then migrated to competitive gun matches, with our luck taking us to a 20-7 record. Next we tried our hand at dodgeball scrimmages, winning all 10 of the matches we played while taking zero losses to our name. Eventually we moved to Zombie Panic!: Source where we began to do competitive clan matches using what we dubbed the 'RAWCG format'. As soon as it was made available we switched to the more convenient 'ZPA format', and to this day have been undefeated in all 19 clan matches, winning each game by an average of 88 points.
Through thick and thin, good times and bad, the clan always stuck together. Some friends are gone, but where they stood, others remain. We've traveled across half a dozen games, through numerous communities, made more than our fair share of allies and even a few enemies, but we're still here. We're still going strong.
To some of the best friends and clan members I could ever ask for, and to six more wonderful years of STARS!
