I see people with a magnum and shoot only 1 shot and kill me, how the hell does people do that? When you shoot, should u stay in one place.

Practice makes perfect :D

Getting a headshot with a magnum can be difficult, especially when you're trying to hit an experienced zombie - a good zombie will move side to side, jump, crouch, basically do everything to try and make the human miss.

Sometimes you just get lucky, but it helps to have a good precise gaming mouse, a connection without much lag, and a steady hand. Don't just fire blindly at the zombie, chill out and get your aim straight before you pull the trigger.

You should get better at it with time.

Magnums are always hard to kill with, there not the sort of weapon you want to go near the zombies with. You really just have to take a deep breath and hope for the best.

Basically you just aim at head level and wait for him to pass your crosshair. The easiest if he's charging you in a long, narrow corridor. You just stand there and take your time.
Also, the magnum is pretty accurate, so shooting at a medium range is recommended.

It's an awesome weapon with lots of ammo in most maps. Somehow all my mates left me on policestation. Then five zombos charged me. They must have thought me to be a sure kill. They weren't even putting any effort into dodging, making perfect magnum fodder ^^

Practice messing with your sensitivity to get the one thats right for you. Preferably you want something thats high enough to let you turn around fully without going off your mouse pad, while still giving you accuracy for precise shots. mess around with it in console and remember to use decimals. mines like 3.2, but every mouse is different so dont take my word

The easiest and most effective way I believe is to run him through a doorway and nail him as he comes through. Takes some good timing though.

I always bait zombies into an area where I know I only have to put my crosshair at once point. Try and lure a zombie to a doorway, wait for him to come through, enjoy a free kill.

If you want to waste a zed without baiting, you're just going to have to practice. And use the techniques above.

Personally I prefer any kind of shotgun over the magnum. With a Remmy and enough skill and ammunition, you can take down a number of zombies.

Shotgun is the weapon of choice for short range combat. High knockback and devastating headshot damage without requiring the precision of the magnum. Though it requiring you to be just barely out of melee range* and it's low rate of fire will get you eaten against more than 2 zombos.

* 50 damage at medium range is just a waste of ammo

I usally use magums when i am defending inside a barracaded house, When the zombie is standing still and trying to open the door  Shotguns are better for running around blowing of limbs. (usally the zombies :))

Depends. I like to go for the headshot with the magnum and - if I fail - pretend like I'm out of ammo just to send him to nirvana with a shotgun blast once he charges ;)
