I need some help

I download zombie panic from steam. theres a thing on my desk top saying 'Zombie Panic! Source Dedicated Server'. When i click that it makes me do something about creating server or something then this comes up :'A source engine game is required to run mods'


What does that mean? please help

I assume you are not trying to run a ZPS server but play the game, so either try the link that says "Zombie Panic! Source" without dedicated server or open Steam manually and launch the game from the "Games" tab.

If the error is not wrong about you owning a Source Engine game, be aware that you do need a game that gives you acces to Source SDK Base. Those games include anything Half-Life 2, Counter-Strike: Source, Day of Defeat: Source, Team Fortress 2, Portal and so on.

I cant find Zombie Panic! Source. I only have team fotress 2 under games tab and it wants me to purchase it.

Sounds like you don't have any Source games installed and/or purchased - You can't download or play Zombie Panic until you buy a Source game first.
