Okay guys since I am such a noob,and still can't figure out what the hell do i need to install to play Zombie Panic ?!? So,I downloaded Half life 2 episode 1 and i tried to 'connect' in console to one of the servers but it said some protocol 14 or something like that.And i read in one thread i needed to download some patch which is in Tools directory? where is this tools directory? okay can you guys please explain to me what do i have to download and install to play here in like steps (1,2,3....8).Thanks in advance! :cool::wacko:

Welcome to the Zombiepanic.org forums and also the game itself, the "Tools" directory is when you are on the Steam menu and accross the top you see tabs such as "Store" "My Games" etc. press tools and download "Source SDK Base: Orange Box" since the new update you need this to play ZPS Be sure to check out the new Sacmo Servers at the SKG Gaming website (http://www.skggaming.com).

Hey man thx for the reply,but i go on tools i see some games but only 1 thing about Zombie Panic: "Zombie Panic! Source Dedicated Server" but nothing regarding orange box or something like that? wut should i do ? :mellow:

EDIT: I restarted the Steam also ,still don't see it.

I'm not sure if I read your post right but are you trying to connect from the console in HL2 episode1? If that's the case you have to download ZPS and run it by itself. In your games list check out uninstalled games and you should see zombie panic there, just right click on it and choose install.
