What does panicking do and how often can you panic?

Well I'm pretty sure you could have searched this, but while I'm here, I guess I'll explain.

Panic is kind of like Survivors sprint. What it does is it gives you an instant burst of full stamina for a short period of time, it also drops EVERYTHING you are holding (this includes ammo, so not only just weapons) except for the weapon that you are holding in your hand when you push panic. This allows you to run a lot faster due to the more you carry, the slower you move. So this can save your life if you can get away from the zombies by losing them by turning many corners, finding a good weapon or hooking up with some fellow survivors etc.
How often? Umm, about 20 seconds or something? I'm not entirely sure. I'll check next time I play.

Very useful, it has saved my life many a time. I suggest making it a key closer to your hands standard playing position to allow quick use, as the situations that call for panic will usually need an instant reaction. Such as mine is the side mouse button.

You can panic only once every few seconds. It's handy if you need a quick escape.

I think i killed 4 zombies once using only a sledge hammer, all thanks to panic... Its like steroids but without the aftereffects.

The only problem with is that my wallet and keys somehow rocket out of my pocket within the moment i panic.

Does panic make you stronger? If I'd known that, I'd just go sprinting around looking for super-duper-keyboard kills.

No, panic actually makes your hits a bit weaker.

It just makes you faster , thus its easier to kill a zombie with meele , it dosent weaken you.
