lets face it, when you hear that heartbeat, you know its time to surprise some teammates.

Thats how I feel anyway, but how do you make the best of your soon-to-come need of brains? Most of these are best done with a mic, its easy that way.

Find the weak ones
I find that asking survivors what their health is a great tatic, most survivors aren't afraid to let you know that they are hurting, or near death, make him your 1st target.

The lure away
tell a survivor you know a health kit or weapon is around the bend, and you will cover them while they get it. once your alone, give him a hug.... followed with bites.

I'm usually the type of person that once infected, tells everyone to shoot me or locks myself in the freezer.. jump of the nearest cliff or throw myself at the closest zombie swinging a sledgehammer.

But lately the little warm fuzzy feeling I get when sacrificing myself for the team is getting weaker and weaker. The lulz obtained by sitting behind the only guy with a machine gun in a barricade and mauling him to death at my first opportunity can no longer be ignored. :D

Drop all, and then find the stupidest person that is completely overloaded with ammo.

If they are smart they usually figure out why you have dropped everything and are panicking without zombies around.

Nothing more satisfying than killing someone who seemed to be doing and inventory of the weapons and ammo around the map. They joy I get when that final swipe hits and they explode like the piñata they are.

My favourite one when I know I'm infected is to head to the nearest barricaded survivors, get them to tear down their barricade so I can get in, then hopefully change once I'm behind them and they're all busy rebuilding it.

I got to admit I enjoy surprising the crap out of my fellow survivors when I start gnawing on their flesh. A few nights ago I managed to take about 5 survivors with me when I turned. Not bad for a day's work.

I had an epic moment on zps_deadblock once, we were all camping in the appartment room, we were to busy baricading the room and let a carrier jump in
The bastard maneged to infect me before we killed him off

When i heard the heartbeat counting down i told all the survivors over the mic to line up against the wall and turn around, ( i had a little suprise )

Its amazing how dumb people are at times :)

I maneged to take out 3/5 of them before they got me

If the survivors are held up somewhere and have a stockpile, take it all and run off to zombie spawn or some other hiding place ;-)

[add more![/QUOTE] I like that one, destroy the weak before you destroy the hard 1s :zombo:

I'm having problems with infecting at all. It used to happen a lot, but now, well... Check the thread if you're interested: http://www.zombiepanic.org/forums/showthread.php?p=109643#post109643

There is a delay from when you turn to when you can attack, and I'm curious if it was intentionally as long as it is?

You you were probably just super unlucky that day... Because it is a 10% chance.
