My 25 tips to survival:
I will just make a list about things that help you to survive:

1)Find better weapons and all the ammo you can get
2)Give extra weapons and ammo to other survivors, I suggest giving the weps and ammo to players who know what they are doing, don’t give to Rambo players who just waste the ammo
3)You should carry one better weapon and pistol as secondary
4)Stick together, staying at groups rises greatly your survival chance.
5)In objective maps you need to be fast and do the objectives because there is infinite amount of zombies
6)You usually don’t need to spare bullets in objective map if you are fast.
7)Use melee only if it’s the last option because you just probably get just killed with it (but I have seen 4 zombies killed with keyboard by one dude but you need ultra skill, noob zombies and fast connection to do that)
8)Don’t use a nade at barricade if you aren’t sure you can’t throw it beyond the barricade because nade destroys the barricade
9)Don’t shoot at zombies if you can’t kill them, it’s only waste of ammo
10)If you have the mag don’t show it to the zombies because they’ll start bunny hopping and dodging except if you don’t have any ammo. Show some normal pistol or melee weapon so that zombie is fooled to attack straight at you, then change to the mag and blow it’s head off
11)If you see that some survivor gets hit by the carrier and still survives and comes to stand close to you, be prepared because he might be infected
12)At normal maps try to barricade some position and spare ammo and protect other survivors
13)Don’t walk next to other survivor because you might block his way if he needs to back off a little
14)Fast way to barricade is to holster and 2nd mouse button, You can actually crush some zombies if you are lucky enough. I have crashed some accidentally
15) If you don’t have a better weapon at least try to have 2 pistols loaded. It’s faster to change pistol than reload a one
16) Zombies trying to get trough barricades are easy to kill with mag, also nades are good against them
17) Remember to rest sometimes to get your stamina back and use panic if needed. Weaponless survivor is better than a new zombie
18)Avoid zombie spawn locations and possible ambush locations. And if you are clearly outnumbered run and shoot; hide, regroup and reload; and then attack them if needed
19)Get to a position where zombies can't dodge when attacking. I have got that way lots of headshot kills with mag for example I killed 10 zombies with 12 shots in one round. (You can’t always hit ) Also accurate mouse really helps at aiming
21)watch your back if you don’t have somebody covering it it
22)If you don’t have any weapons don’t stare at the zombie, you run faster forwards than backwards
23)The axe effect: attracts zombies to firing range of your shotgun :D
24)If you see me playing follow me because I am usually generous with weps and ammo if I have some extra and I usually cover other survivors next to me
25)Last and not the least AIM FOR THE HEAD!!!

My english might not be the best but I hope it's readable

My brother managed to do that the first time he played subway. Talk about pissed of the zombies got.

That's a great list. Those are all things that every new player should know. Nice job. :)

I think the main tip should be:
Watch out for chat and mic, and when somebody needs sovering when 'cading, help him, don't just stay and watch how is he dying...

And all humans who have no experience in barricading must stay away from doorway, coz they are making me angry by blcking me XD

Strange thing about grenades... They don't really kill zombies because the shrapnel is supposed to injure the soldiers. That's why some lay down on them so that the impact is less destructive. Grenade explosions are rather small and don't really kill zombies, either.

But these, as a game, are awesome tips. I'm new, myself, and I will enjoy this game. :D

Good list! I think 1 and 2 here are the most important, and so's their timing. Early on you want to be picking up and hoarding as much weaponry and ammo as you can like you're some sort of magnet, but only if you're going to meet up with other survivors fairly soon in order to give them to needier players. If you're planning to go solo, it's better to just leave them.

Also if you're with someone you trust you can share ammo. Someone with a mag and another with a shotty can each collect the other ammo type so you can have more together, as long as you're both able to drop it for your buddy on quick notice.
