Ok, the second beginning of the end is dead. Back to basics. This RP takes place during WWII. It's seen from the perspective of a secret squad of american paratroopers. These men are dropping behind nazi lines to gain intell on a new weapon thats under development, and if possable sabotage it. I'll need 5-10 people to get it started.

(I will laugh as you attempt to run while carrying all those guns and such.)
EDIT - (Not to mention a Radio. :D)
-------------------------------------------------------
Name: Andrew Ruiban
Rank: Private
Gear: BAR, Ammunition, Knife, Heavy-Duty Binoculars, 1x Grenade, Various Knick Knacks, .45 Pistol.
Color: Grey
Appearance: Medium Build, White, a bit grizzled, Standing at 6'2, has a large scar across his neck from an undisclosed attack.
Age: 49
Bio: A usually quiet and reserved soldier. Ruiban is an aged soldier and is experienced in several field operations. He entered the army by choice, though his reasonings have never been given. Most who know him play him off as an eccentric, and a generally harmless one. Though he is prone to violence and like all men does have his breaking points.
Drafted into the paratrooper brigade he has shown exceptional results in all fields, while some fields are lacking heavily. Ruiban is not particularly fond of most other soldiers and is often the first to snap to sarcastic remarks and slander if provoked.
Name: Pat Smith
Rank: Private
Gear: M97, M1911, 4 fragmentation grenades, 2 smoke grenades
Appearance: White, 5'11", medium build, buzzcut
Age: 23
Bio: Pat was forced into the military when the war started. He didn't want to join since he knew about the last war, but he had no say in it. Even though he didn't like it, he outperformed the other recruits in training and was taken into a special paratrooper unit.

(Seb, paratroopers were trained for endurance and that goes double for this squad. Tey would have to carry all this stuff. I'll laugh when you run out of ammo and don't have a pistol to fall back on. Besides, that knife would take to long to draw in CQC. All we needa do is bash our enemy in the face with our rifle's, and maby go hand to hand.)

Name: Nathan Zachary
Rank: Corporal
Gear: Mauser98K with a scope, a colt 45 and a thingy to cut through barbed wire and fences. Some camouflage.
Appearence: White, 6?0", average build, short blond hair, 5?o clock shadow (or whatever it?s called)
Age: 21
Bio: Nathan had been his fathers favourite son in a family of 6 people. Him and his 3 brothers had helped their dad back at the farm they lived in before they were all drafted into the army. In school Nathan didn?t say much, but he had been an ace when it came to mathematics, so it was no wonder that he became a sniper once he joined the military. His brothers joined the same squad, in the same platoon, in the same company while Nathan joined the paratroopers. His skill with the sniper rifle (especially the german 98K) was umatched in the company he had joined, so he was taken in to train with the rest of a special selection of men.

(Way to turn the joke sour Flash.
I was hinting more to the scrawny character carrying a heavy looking radio. You shouldn't take offense Flash, as none was intended.
Nah, I figure I'd have a good second or two to pull it out of the ol' belt buckle. But yeah, in most cases I will be using the rifle butt. The Knife is part of his personal story, which may or may not be introduced.
But seeing as we can carry *double* for this squad. I may add a few things.)
And on a final note:
Do divulge all aspects of our training, some may find it useful to know we've been trained to have twice the endurance, as I can see it being USEFUL in that kind of situation.

It was mid-night, we were told to report to the breifing tent. I sat in the middle row, center seat. To my left was Nathan, to my right was Andrew. The rest of my men were scattered about the tent. Quit, Airborne......eyes front. our captain said. We faced a white screen. A slide-show of our new objective was playing on it. We were ordered to infultrate a Nazi laboratory, and gain intell on a new weapon that was in development. The only entrence was a hatch that was guarded 24/7 by four soldiers that worked on shifts. Two soldiers at a time would be watching the hatch. You move out in two hours.....prep you equipment then meet on the airfeild. We left the tent, and went back to the barracks.

Ah, its been ages since Ive last seen an original RP. Can I still join? If so:
Name: Sarif Abdoelah
rank: private first class
Gear: Combat shotgun+bayonet, Luger, ammo to fill both guns 3 times, 3 satchel charges, 3 smoke grenades, a wire-cutter.
Apearance: Indiase (like from India) 5'6 foot, black hair, sturdily built.
Age: 26
Bio: An illegal immigrant from Suriname, he went to America for a better life on his 16th. Didnt work out that well. Was pressed in military service after five years of poverty, and got selected for the engineers. He got a shotgun and explosives and the instruction to "Pull the pin, and throw. Then point your gun at the enemy and pull the trigger." End of training. Managed to survive quite well, despite some racists running around. Firmly believes he is under the protection of Allah, since he is one of the few muslims on the european battlefield.

I walked down the open field to the barracks. A few soldiers were shipping out for a field offensive elsewhere. I gave one a quick look before he turned and noticed me, I turned my view back to the barracks and entered it. "One hell of a Gash Ruiban." The soldier said, he had followed me in. I shrugged, "It's alright." "Does it hurt?" I picked up my equipment and turned to leave, "Everyday." I left for the airfield.

I returned to my room and cleaned my Thompson, and 1911. I made sure that they wouldn't jam up on me. It wouldn't be a pritty picture if they did in the middle of a fight. I walked over to my mirror, and stared myself down. Just get them all home in one piece....... I said thinking back on a failed mission. It was three years ago.......my entire squad was wipped out......the objective was compleat, and in the eyes of the higher ups it was a success....but to me.....well I couldn't forgive myself for losing those me. I punched the mirror, cracking it but causing my hand to bleed slightly. I bandaged my hand, and grabbed my gear. I left my room and walked down the hall toward my mens room.

Your men are already at the airfield, Sarge a soldier said passing me. I made a U-turn, and walked out the door. I headed for that airfield, and noticed Ruiban walking ahaid of me. We reached the airfield, and I sat on a nearby ammo crate. One hour left......
Pat
I was waiting at the airfield for a while before some more of the squad showed up. Doyle and Ruiban were the first. I was spinning my 1911 around on my finger out of boredom when Doyle said, "Careful with that, private". I looked at him and stopped spinning it and quickly checked to see if I had a clip in. Luckily I didn't, otherwise I might not have been standing right now.
I sighed and holstered the pistol and began inspecting my M97.

Doyle
The group was all here now. The plaine came taxieing up. We borded it, and took off. We flew up, through the clouds to conceal our plaine. Hours passed as we approached our target. The sun began to rise. Red light! Everyone stand up. I walked over to the door and opened it. The light turned green. The sun was rising. Go, go, go! My men jumped out, one by one. I stared at the rising sun, then followed my men down. The air whipped past us, it was brisk and woke me up out of a slight daze that I had fallen into. The time came to pull out chuits. Everyones opened without a problem, except mine. The chuit didn't unfold! I was falling fast! I cut my chuit, and pulled the cord on my spare chuit. We landed in a thick feild, filled with tall grass. I signiled for my men to get down, and move in on my position. We were a couple clicks from the target. We checked our weapons, and I pointed to where we were going. Move....

(My point of view from the jump.)
I sat in the inside of the plane. I slipped the required motion sickness pill and sucked on it until it dissolved down my throat. I coughed slightly as we raised in altitude, my ears beginning to pop. I clicked my jaw and the feeling was gone. The pilot turned to us and gave us the signal, our eyes met and he gave me a look that could be described as pity, or fear. I quickly stood up, hooking onto the rope in the plane. We stepped forward. As I reached the exit I looked down...
and then I fell...
Sailing through the air I could see the outline of the countryside, the cool air rushing past me was refreshing. I could feel it woosh by every muscle. I could not help but smile. The feeling was short however as the parachute opened and I softly floated to the ground. I clicked off the hook and the parachute sailed off. "????..." I saw Doyle raise his hand and hurried off to their position.

(And my point of view.. You?re way too fast Flash, give us the oppertunity to write stuff too before you go ahead and detonate a nuke in Berlin! Also, don?t write about how the others did during the fall, as I had something in mind for me.)
Nathan
The green light was on. I took a deep breath and jumped out of the plane. The hours and hours of training had paid off, I automatically did that I had learned as if it was built into my genes. The air was causing my head to cool off.. It was a nice refreshing feeling. I pulled the cord to the parachute and it unfolded like a dream. Unfortunately I didn?t see the tree below me.. "????!" It was a thick field of grass everywhere but where I landed...
The parachute got stuck in the tree. When it happened I could feel the pull in my shoulders and my back. It gave me an aching feeling. I pulled out my knife and cut the linen cords.. They snapped quickly and I fell to the ground with a thud.. There was nothing I could do to hide the parachute.. When the next German patrol arrived they would notice it right away unless a French farmer comes and collects the parachute.. They were of high price to the farmers since they were made of silk.
I gathered my equipment and moved over to the rest of the squad.

(Ill stick to the tradition: Sarifs view at the jump)
Sarif
Sarif waits for his turn, and jumps. He falls a little longer than neccesary, since he likes falling. Its the best way to get calm before a mission.
Because of this he lands a bit too hard, and falls. He isnt hurt though, and runs over to the rest of his squad when he gets his chute loose.
Pat
I shrugged off the chute and gathered other with the others at Doyle's position. I unholstered my 1911 to check if it was loaded and ready to fire. It looked fine, so I checked my M97. There was a slight problem with it though. The pump was jamming. "????it", I cursed quietly.
I carried on trying to get it working for a while before I spoke up. "Sarge, I have a problem", he looked at me, ""What? if you need to go, we're in a field, don't worry about it", he replied chuckling. "It's not that kind of problem, sir, it's my weapon", he stopped smiling and said, "Let me take a look at it, you probably got some grass in it." I handed the shotgun to him and he quickly inspected it. "Aha, found your problem", he said while pulling some wire out of the pump.
He handed it back to me and we proceeded to our designated location.

Walking in the dark, your mind can play tricks on you. Every twig snapping could be a Nazi ready to blow your head off, or it could just be a squirrel, or just your imagination. Creeping along to our destination I continued to look behind me anxiously. I wasn't a particular fan of walking in the dark knowing enemies were all around us.
????, why did I always feel the need to smoke right when we were in possible danger? I bit my lower lip as we trudged on.

We were trudging through this field for wat seemed like an etearnity......The sun was comming up, we keeped low to the ground. Eventually we came upon the hatch to the underground laboratory. Hold up.... We came to a dead stop. The tall grass concealed us. I peeked over the grass at the entrence. No guards......something about this dosn't feel right..... Whats wrong, Sarge? I was silent for a moment trying to figure out if there was a delay in the shift changes. Nothing, theres an opening in the shift changes. There wasn't anything about this in the intell we got....odd. I waited for a moment and finally figured out how to approach this. Smith, Wheeler, you two are going to move up the the hatch, and see if the area is clear. Signal with a wave if it's clear. Zachary, get into position by that tree, and cover their approach. Ruiban, go with Zachary and cover him. Act as his spotter if possable. Zachary, and Ruiban moved up to a nearby tree that would provide a view of the surrounding area. They signaled that they were in position. Ok, on my mark move up the the hatch. Smith is on point. I stood up to get one last look on the area. Go! They moved up the the hatch, and checked the area. They gave the signal, and we all regrouped on their position. I opened the hatch, and we went down the ladder leading into the laboratory, one by one.

I looked down the hall and then at the sarge, "Ruiban is right, sir. Sarif's plan could alert nazi patrols around the area, we wouldn't want that, would we?", I commented. He nodded, "I know that." Suddenly I felt the door jerk foreward, knocking me off of it. I turned and readied my SMG. A scientist stumbled through, he was covered in blood and seemed to be in a daze. Pat and Nathan turned his way and readied their guns. Hold your fire, men. I lowered my gun, steped toward the scientist, and cracked him in the face with the but of my Thompson. He dropped to the ground, but shook it off and stood back up. What the hell......? I noticed that there was a huge chunk missing from his throat. I kicked him away, and took a step back. He fell back, and his head was in the middle of the doorway. I grabbed the doors handel, and slammed the door on his head untill he layed still. (Like in Kill Bill Vol. 1) Was that necessary, s-sir? Well, it was that.....or I shoot him and alert the base. I opened the door. Let's hoap that the others double back, and come in with us shortly. We stepped through the door, Nathan dragged the body in with us, and hid it in a near by locker. I shut the door behind us, we were in an office from the looks of it.
