"Why does it seem so unbalanced? Why are the humans so weak? Why are the zombies so strong? There's not enough guns and ammo, the guns and ammo are too scaterred. Ect."

If you guys played "Zombie Panic!" (the first one, which was on the half-life engine) then I'd like you guys to flash back to the time ZP was new. It was how it is now, basically in human eyes 'everything is hard'. It's only hard because those maps were OFFICIAL maps. Then as time passed and CUSTOM maps came out things got generallyeasier. Official maps were usually always the hardest in ZP, and it's probaly gonna be the hardest in ZPS.

It's a trend. A statistic. You can count on custom maps being easier with more firepower and places to be and ect., just like in ZP. On top of that, ZPS has nasty map developers.

Nasty as in, good, right? :D

The maps are great in this release, and it's definately a challenge finding those mostly scarce weapons and ammo, and you're right, custom maps are always too easy.

I played zombie panic!, i could still kill a zombie with a couple of headshots, run faster than him, dodge his cooled down hits and jump my way to safety. Sir, that's not possible now.

In ZP you could strafe jump round and zombie and take a maxium of one hit in a really tight space, now in ZP:S if theres a corridor, you and a zombie, your screwed

I know I know but that's not applicable to the whole custom vs official map business you know? That's like...actual gameplay, that would be the whole hl engine vs source engine manner. You are indeed correct though. Well respected.

yeah, the "nasty" maps are the better maps, because a lot (not all, but a lot) of custom maps were focused on making the game easier for humans to the point that it was ridiculous *cough*BRIDGES*cough*

ahhh, it's only a matter of time before someone makes a Dig map for ZP:S

I won my first, full, non first round of ZP!S yesterday on Subway. That seems to be the only map with sufficient ammo.

I read on the moddb zps profile: ' humans are forced to work together'. You don't work together you die, I like the enforcement unfortunently the whiners that come along with it is no bonus. Honestly I like the game being extremly difficult to win. There are plenty of other zombie mods where you can shoot at zombies all day without a worry of being ripped apart ( AND not having to wait before you can respawn as human).

But yeah I'm going to stray away from custom maps until the original maps are boring, which will take long. I'm releasing a zps map soon and expect it to be just as hard ;)

Bogus is right, the whole point of ZP was to have a game where humans had to work together anyway, and this is pushed forward with ZP:S, with the fact that zombies are so ???? hard now that it almost sexy. (almost)

When the zombies win, EVERYBODY wins because everyone is a zombie!

So does that mean that humans should stop trying to win because they will deny the zombies happiness?
