We are sorry for lying to you about not releasing on a date we didn't promise. Even our sincerest apologies cannot begin to heal the deep wounds we've scarred you with tonight because of not releasing Zombie Panic: Source.

In recompense, we've decided to make up for our shameful actions by offering you, the dearly disappointed, custom player models and weapons in-game. While this project is a major undertaking on our part, we feel it is needed...

So. If you are extremely unhappy with his for lying to you about a release date we didn't promise, or feel like the entire countdown was a scam, please post your steam account login and password. You might want to include your steam_id as well, just for safe measures. Don't worry though, any private information posted on this thread will be viewable only to me and yourself, for others it is "????" out, just like swearing is.

Once again, we are deeply sorry for failing you by not meeting standards we didn't set.

What was your point of making a countdown for the release date?

Why didn't you guys just give us a release date before the countdown began so all this disappointment could have been avoided, or was it that you were not sure at all when it was going to be done but you knew it would be done before next year then why not just make the release date December 30th.
And are you even sure about the release date now? Because none of you promised anything and I don't want to read another sarcastic post.

Or is it something else.

I still don't understand why people thought it was going to be released. If it was then only the people on the forums would essentially know the night of the release. Now that they have an actual date, will see new updates on sites and whatnot, letting everyone else know its coming.

The developers never said what the countdown was for. The community made a guess and believed it without question. The true/loyal fans of the community will still wait for the release. For those who are still here, thank you.

The countdown got EVERYONE excited, all anticipated to blow brains and crowbar eyes out of the zombies. I agree that we shouldn't of thought it was just guessed that it was the countdown.
BUT you shouldn't really be doing things like that.
From now on, you have to PROMISE to go straight forward, and no more iddy little lies, and shoot-down all sarcastic topics.

Please :) it would make the community,MUCH, more assured that you guys are seroiusly making this game for FREE and you love zombies and giving out a form of diabetes to people who went to sit on their computers and play zp:s 24/7
