These movies are terrible.

16 mins of a video game parody done in a live action format. Without sound effects or music from the game, this movie would be like listening to standup from 2 comedians who don't realize they lack a sense of humor.

What!? They DID use the game music dude. You obviously didn't watch it.

No, I did watch it. I suppose I should have said, this movie WOULD be like. I rewrote the review like 4 times because I couldn't find the right words for it. The whole Paula calling Ness with her psychic power was done pitifully. And the fight scenes weren't 2D which I was expecting. They jump around the story at lightspeed and the sound effects for the fights were limited compared to what the game actually had. They never even had a boss theme for when fighting the chief of police. A lot of the lines were copied almost straight from the game aside from the ones they were making fun of.

There was a sequel which was going to be put out on N64 but it got canceled halfway through production. I've also played most of the NES version on an emulator until I got to a point where it told me it wasn't an authentic copy and I couldn't play anymore, that's said ok I'm done with the NES version.

If you love it, that's fine. I'm not saying anything about your sense of humor. I just don't get this kind of humor, maybe it's cus I'm older or something. It's like when people say "rape faces." I don't see how that's funny.

I don't get it. I mean where was Mr. Saturn? He's the icon of EarthBound/Mother.
