My summertrip.

This summer I will be traveling through Europe by train with the interrailcard (http://www.interrailnet.com) that you can buy for a cheap amount of money. I haven't really decided on where I will go yet but something I know for sure is that I will fly to London first and take the train from there. I will be traveling with a friend and we already bought the flight ticets so we will arrive to Stansted airport in the morning on the 30th of june.

We will stay in London for a few days because there will be a little gathering with some people from Zombie panic, mostly people from the old LoS clan. But that gathering will be around the 3rd of july and I will be there earlier and to save money for the rest of my trip I just wanted to check if someone has got free/cheap place for me and my friend to stay during our visit, doesn't have to be more then 1-2 days and we will save some money on that.
Of course it's not only about saving money it's also a lot funnier to meet up with some fellow ZP fans and have a good time meeting new people.

My plan after London is to take the train to Paris and from there go up to Belgium and Holland and from there I'm not sure where to go yet.

So if any of you people here has got any suggestions on where to go in Europe and what I can do in each country then don't hesitate to post :).

You can go to Spain to hire hookers. I think they are cheap there. And you can go to Switzerland to buy yummy Swiss chocolate, mmm. I have heard the Swiss are good at making chocolate.

It is time! Tomorrow morning I will fly to London and stay at a hostel close to the "Swiss Cottage" tube station. On monday the 2nd I will travel to Paris by the Eurostar Highspeed trains and stay there until I go to Amsterdam on Friday the 6th.

I am not sure for how long I'll be gone but it will be for approximately 25 days if things go as planned, meaning aslong as I don't get robbed along the way.
I will try to check these boards as often I can and I will everytime I find an internet caf?.

Wow, it'd be really nifty if someone actually was social enough to want to meet up with you since there are a lot of UK/Euro people on here. I myself have my trip next month in Huntsville, Ohio and don't have funding to join you or else I would have. I have a friend who travels around London and Rome a lot and so it'd be kind of neat to see him too. I also have family in Ireland I'll be visiting this October hopefully.

Right now Im sitting at a small CRAPPY internet caf? in Rome. Ive been to London, Paris, Amsterdam and here this far and Im taking the night train to Vienna, Austria tonight.

Me and my friend are running low on money so we will be heading to the east, probably to czech republica, poland, slovakia and ???? like that. Its cheap but I will probably be broke in a week or so anyway hehe.

I might not come back home, I heard the east is dangerous. Take care guys :)

Wow that sounds like you're having a pretty good time, hope you're having a good time over there and going to have something to talk about it. Hopefully you're not spending your whole trip on the train. And it's not too dangerous over there anymore. Just have to be careful you mostly don't get robbed. Thats the only thing that you really have to watch for.

I'm finally back home! The trip lasted for 25 days and I ran out of money yesterday in Denmark, Copenhagen. Had to sneak on a train to get home and here I am, scared and tired.

Everything was cheap except for accomodation. I lived in some kind of old mental hospital, it was scary as hell. Everything was great with Prague! Good looking women, cheap and good beer plus a nice clean city, a great combination. I suggest everyone to go there.

London and the rest of the UK is infested with "chavs", I think that is what they mean by gangsters. To be honest London wasn't that great but that was probably because our flight there was 20 hours delayed so we arrived at 4 am instead of 8 am (the morning before) and we missed a BBQ party that we were going to. And then it was a little rainy and when we tried to go out the evening after in the "Zoho" (?) area there were only muppets trying to sell coke and all the bouncers at the clubs said "Sorry we are closed".
Just a bad day I guess but we left the day after so I didn't have time to really experience the place but I've been there before and it's a nice town, I'm just not so sure about the club life in that town.
