Here are the minimum requirements to play/run Zombie Panic : Source, they are the same requirements as Half-Life 2 as ZP:S uses the HL2 engine;

Processor: 1.2 GHz Processor
OS: Windows, 2000/XP/Me/98
Graphic card: DirectX 7 level graphics card
Hard Drive: 4.5 GB
Memory: 256 MB RAM
Other: Internet Connection, DVD-ROM Drive

You don't need DVD-ROM Drive, since you can just download the games from Steam. If you've registered it, which you have to do anyway to be able to install it.

Well those were what was off the box, so yeah I guess you don't need a DVD-ROM if you download from steam.

256 MB it not alot of memory... If you mean how much space it will take on your hard drive, it still isnt that big..

Actually thats how much RAM you need at a minimum, not HD space.

Lol howabout any modern graphic intensive game?

There is a reason we are having to switch to dvds.

GeForce 5200FX
512MB RAM
3.1GHz

I can run Half-life 2 at around 40-50 FPS with low settings (and high textures).
CS:S, when I do happen to fool around on it, 20 FPS.
CSPromod I get 100FPS, as a surprise.

Hopefully with ZP:S there isn't too much clutter bogging down my FPS. A constant 30+fps and I'd be satisfied. :)
