Extra Attacks for Zombies have been suggested for quite some time now, and much discussion has gone into adding one. At present there is no addtional Zombie Attack in Zombie Panic Source's launch, but work will be done on zombie abilities for future patch's and release's.
Discuss what you would like to see added to the zombies repetiour of abilities, or the changing of current ones. :)

I think it would be awesome if you can beat them with your own arm like Medevil style :P.

It would be awesome if the zombies could latch on to someone and the survivor victim would struggle to fight the attacking zombie off with the butt of their gun or their bare hands

grab and bite: hold down right click to latch on to a survivor and start chewing at their neck, This would deal continuing damage until the survivor clicks (X) number of times to shake them off (or the zombie lets go of the right mouse button. Once shaken off, the zombie would stumble backwards and lurch to a halt, giving the survivor a little time to attack back or escape.

Tackling them to the ground. It would deal 15 damage and they cant move for 5 seconds. Slow recharge.

I think the most logical thing would be a secondary fire that can be used on corpses to consume them. This would speed up health regeneration, BUT this depends on how fast health regenerates normally..

Bite- [X] initial damage with [X] damage over [X] time. Short range.
Grapple- Slow attack from behind. Binds survivor to zombie, doing [X] damage per second untill the zombie is removed from the survivor. Neither play may move during grapple. Survivor is forced to melee weapon to beat off his attacker.
Pull up- Missing a ledge is no longer a problem. Contact with a brush edge with the top half of zombie model will allow the zombie to pull himself on to the surface. Not really another attack, but a useful ability.

An attack that disarms a survivor?

Switches weapon to melee. They don't lose it. Unless they die.

CaptainSnake has a point. An attack that disarms a survivor would be cool. And Pullup should replace jump for zombies and survivors.

Dark Messiah I beleive allowed you to pull yourself up a ledge if you hit it a little short by holding the space bar, but maybe this should just be given to survivors since they are supposed to be more nimble

I feel smart :D. Anyway I've noticed in ZP1 when a zombie hits you, you slow down a bit. I'm not saying have an attack that slows the survivor down because he'll prolly have a andrealine rush when he gets hit and run faster than before but what I mean is make a secondary attack that contiuously does like 2 damage. You just have to hold it down so in a way it'll slow down the player if HL2 works like HL1
One of the features under consideration is "grapple" for zombies, wherein a zombie can wrap his arms around a survivor and keep him from moving or firing anywhere but directly in front of him (Thus you'd want to grapple from behind), as well as being able to slowly drag the hapless human wherever you want.
Picture watching helplessly in horror as a zombie grabs your friend from behind, and drags him into a ventilation duct, or off a high ledge.

I?m with the pullup one, that would be really great. But that would mean that skilled players wouldn?t be able to hide as well as unskilled player..... I LOVE IT :D

I question why so many people think that zombies can shoot stomach acid out of thier mouths....
Even if they could it would not do damage. When you throw up during a bout with the flu, you are throwing up hydrochloric acid. That why its burns as all hell.

I think it would be cool. But a limit to fairly low damage and once per "life."

some people already talked about biting survivors, so here is my idea.
When feed-o-meter is full, you are able to do just one bite that immediately kills the
survivor, but if failed it empties the fee-o-meter

Thats way to strong considering zombies start with full feed-o-mete every life

What about, if it only works when attacking from behind?
