Yeah, I started up a server, but the problem is, i can connect to it via "connect <ip>" in console, but it's not on the list, so what's going wrong.

I do not have a router

Go into your ZP server folder. Open the server.cfg with notepad.

At the top you will see this:
// Must specify sv_region, or it won't show up in Steam server browser
// 0: US East coast
// 1: US West coast
// 2: South America
// 3: Europe
// 4: Asia
// 5: Australia
// 6: Middle East
// 7: Africa
sv_region 0

Change sv_region to the value of your continent. For example, if you are from Europe, change sv_region from 0 to 3.

Well, 1st off, make sure that you have your ports forwarded(Im unsure as to whether you'll need to or not, because you dont have a router). And 2nd, make sure it's the right ip.

HLDS is the stand alone, like this one here (http://hlds101.com/hlds101/introhlds.htm). And it is run in a command console.

Where as, the steam one is run off of steam.

If you're experienced with running servers, then i suggest you go with the standalone. But, if you're not that experienced, then i suggest you learn how to use the standalone, because it's so much better then the steam dedicated.
