Who thinks we should start up an RPG?
I would do one, but I'd probably forget about it (see my other story) so someone else would have to do it.
The one RPG, Class IV outrbreak (I think) died, LOgan redid it, but he got banned (I'm still trying to figure out why) and no one has started one up. I think Renegadedod would be a good RPG writer, but he's busy writing stories.

Eh, I don't see a problem with it, but maybe the moderators see otherwise. And, yeah, why DID LOgan get banned?

When you say "RPG," do you mean what essentially amounts to a choose-your-own-adventure story posted in the forums, with other posters voting on what action should be taken next?

No, I'm talking about one like 'Outbreak: Class IV.' You have a character with weapons, you say what the character does and the RPG 'Narrator' tells the effects and events.

Sorry for the double post, but my computer is a retard and won't work correctly (same thing happens with my e-mail).

Yeah would be great... Let's do it mates. I think that we only should be able to pick one weapon at the start of the game, ofcoulse from a list. But who is gona host and such?

well, I was going to open up an RPG in the NMRiH forums, but I may open up that idea here instead since I am participating in another RPG they have on those forums, and the one I want to start up cannot start up until that one ends or something like that...
The idea is that a group of people are in enrolled in a night school class during a zombie outbreak. You can play either teenagers who are enrolled in a night school class to replace their day ones, or an older person attempting to get their high school diploma because they dropped out of highschool earlier in their life and now regret not having one, or something like that... The map layout is based upon my school, though I did cut some stuff because it would take too long in Paint to put it all down (I cut out the drama-wing part and genesis school theatre, and also cut out the other gym north of that gym.... it is right across from it taking up part of the parking lot in that map - the darma wing/theatre is south of the Gym, and East of the band room... and it takes up more room east of the band room too)...
you can check out all the details here:
http://www.nomoreroominhell.com/forums/index.cgi?action=threads&id=5835
AND IT COMES WITH A MAP! lol..
If you want to, we can start it here. Me being a GM isn't that hard since I am a regular to be of the forums (but I mainly stay to the fan fiction in both forums - though i do participate more broadly in the NMRiH community forums).
PS - if you look at the first map, there is this little useless line that i accidently added... i must have held down the left button on the mouse and added it accidently. it is at the coutyard... there is actually a second courtyard... it is the thing in the middle of the classroom wing... that is just a little useless space with a couple of small trees that no one ever enters...

Well, I was thinking more of an action-oriented RPG, but this is fine.

oooooohhhhhh, there will be action... I am not giving you a ~~~~load of mellee weapons just to barricade... I will make sure zombies break through....
the windows shutters are metal things that roll out on the outside of the window. they are closed using switches inside the classroom. all the windows are already closed (don't have to barricade first level windows due to metal barricades).
Only things that need to be barricaded are the main entrance/exit doors. The main entrance and the two exits north on the classroom wing are doors that have two big windows that make up most of the door - means if you don't barricade fast, zombies will flood in fast.
Zombies will harass all entrances, so they will break through an entrance occasionally, and you will have to keept defending the school from being overrun.
Players can attempt to escape the school and find sanctuary elsewhere, but I geuss you guys will attempt to survive here.
I'd like to add some bonus info. Those blue things along the wall are doors. Most of them are locked except for a select few. I will play the nightschool teacher (I have keys). The doors in the hallway (where there is a wall going through the hallway) are usuall left open, and seperate the hallways with those doors. They are actually always open, except when the school is closed. They are not locked, so don't worry, but you could use them to seperate the school into sectors in case the zombies break in - you could cut off parts of the school.

it is entertaining... i need a lot of people because a lot of people will get killed... if you die you can start another character (a survivor found a lil bit later)...
also, i have some rules for the RPG... before every post you must post the name of your character, and underline his name... this keeps from people being confused and forgetting the names of people...
i also want people to know, when you post, you are only suggesting what you would do. you donot take over and say, "oh, i pull out my gun and shoot them all in the head without missing a shot," or, "I bash the dozen zombies in the head killing them all, and do not get bitten during the entire ordeal." you only suggest thing like "i would bash the first couple of zombies in the head and back up from the main group and strike any that got close. if they began to overwhelm me i would retreat to the main group." after you make your suggestion, i will tell you how it plays out.
alo, when you entre rooms and rummage through stuff to find stuff, i will tell you what you find.
Good idea... I'll sign up now, if you wanna make it.

Some people might've missed those links to the NMRiH forums, so I'll post all essential info here.
Ok. I have created a couple of maps to show the schools layout. I need some people to apply for my RPG, in which, I will be the GameMaster.
Those who apply, and are accepted (which should be most of you), will participate in the story.
You will be people participating in night school, whether you are high-school students who would rather take a couple classes during night school, or older people going back to school to get your high-school diploma.
Weapons will be plentiful, guns will be rare, though.
Post your character info, and when we get enough people. We should get atleast 10 people, who are serious about the RPG and will participate regularly (unlike the 2 people on the mall RPG who don't post anymore).
Character info to post:
Name:
Gender:
Age:
Items:
Other specific info/traits:
here are the maps if you want to look at them and check them out.
1st Level:
http://img380.imageshack.us/img380/6500/1stlevel9zm.jpg (http://img380.imageshack.us/img380/6500/1stlevel9zm.jpg)
2nd Level:
http://img500.imageshack.us/img500/931/2ndlevel4qr.jpg (http://img500.imageshack.us/img500/931/2ndlevel4qr.jpg)
Make sure you have the option for Internet Explorer from resizing the maps, or just save the picture on your computer and iew it on your comp.
They are made to overlap. Most of the stuff is explained in the pictures.
Here are to decribe the rooms so that you know what to expect when entering them.
Rooms 1701-1705 are Math class rooms - like all normal class rooms except there will be math posters on the walls.
Rooms 1706-1710 are Science class rooms - class rooms will be science labs. They will have sinks, chemical isolation chamber (for certain experiments) and gas lines (don't ~~~~ around with fire).
Rooms 1711-1716 are English class rooms - like all normal classrooms except that the desks are re-positioned to circle around the room pointing to one spot, and there will be english posters on the walls (showing certain famous paintings and famous genius quotes).
Rooms 1201 and 1202 and CAPP class rooms - CAPP is a class we must take in grade 10 and 12. It stands for Career and Personal Planning. We think of the class as a joke and basically a waste of time.
Rooms 2201-2205 are the language class rooms - 2201 and 2202 are Spanish class rooms, 2203 and 2204 are French class rooms, and 2205 is the German class room.
Rooms 2701-2705 are assorted class rooms - English, English-as-a-2nd-language, and Humanities - Humanities is a combination of Social Studies (History) and English.
Rooms 2706-2710 are Social Studies and History class rooms.
Rooms 2711-2716 are computer class rooms - for computer studies, accounting, typing, business classes, etc.
The sky-blue boxes are vending machines - in the foyay (? on spelling) 3 of those vending machines contain junk food, while the other 2 are pop machines. The 3 in the cafeteria are juice/water machines. The 2 vending machines upstairs are a pop machine and a juice/water machine.
There are supposed to be 3 vending machines just after the staff dining room in the main hallway. I forgot to add them, but just remember they should be there. One contains junkfood, juice/water machine, and the other a pop machine.
Thats about it. If you need any more info, or i remembr something I forgot to mention, I'll post more.
I'll post my character info tommorow, I'm too tired today to even think.

we need a few more people, and it would be good to have some back-up characters, so if yours dies, you can join as another character who is a survivor that is either found in the school, or finds sanctuary in the school from the zombie outbreak.
I will be the teacher of the nightschool class (GM and character - what a world we live in - lol)
Name: Mr. Roberts (first name Dan, but you guys will not know that unless I say)
Gender: Male, of course.
Age: 32
Items: a couple of pens, keys to most of the school, glasses, wallet.
Traits/specifics: balding - brown hair. Kinda boring. Likes to find a logical reason to things. wearing a white suit (button) shirt, with black suit pants. Teaches english 12 nightschool.
well, thats about it. I will most likely be in different roles also helping manipulate the game further.
